To complete Side A of their 4th album....No idea when they will release Side B. I must say "Always be there,"You" and " Pass me By" are top tier BES songs so this album does not disappoint so far. I also like how they are releasing the album piece by piece...gives the illusion that they are constantly coming back lol.

It amazes me how much naul is in pass me by. He usually dominates the song but damn lol

I have to say I'm not disappointed either. The album is very cohesive and there are absolutely no fillers.

 

Sung Hoon sounds especially good in Thank Your Soul and Naul killed me, revived me and then killed me again in Pass Me By. My favorite track is still You Are So Beautiful though.

 

My only complaint is that I didn’t get to hear as much of Young Jun’s voice as I would have liked to but I’m hopeful he’ll get to sing more once Side B gets released.

Agreed... I expected to hear more of Young Jun in pass me by(although it would have fit better in always be there or Beautiful)..but oh well guess Naul's ego had to be feed some more..as if singing the entire chorus to every song wasn't enough for him (Lol jk)

Really hard to chose a fav but if I was forced  it would be always be there..it has that nostalgia and replay value for me. I even like Philly love song and usually not a huge fan of songs like that...its really well made.

LOL! To be honest, I had the same thoughts while listening to the album. There's a couple of songs where I was expecting Young Jun to lead the way for Jung Yeop so he could take over singing the chorus but then Naul kept singing and I was like wtf because the other 3 just ended up doing backup vocals.

 

I like Always Be There and Philly too. Both sound old school but nice. If anything, this has made me more excited for Side B. I just hope Naul takes a seat the line distribution is a bit fairer.
