Why did Seohyun's solo flop so bad?

So i just found out today that Seohyun released an actual solo and finally saw her MV and listened to the song for 'Don't Say No'.

Now I have to say that i'm not the biggest fan of SNSD music or their members, but I honestly thought this song was quite good and the MV looked like it had a budget, surprising coming from Seohyun imo

So, what I want to know is why did it flop so hard?

Where did all the fans go? It just made me confused seeing as how she's a member of the former NGG and Sones love to brag that SNSD has a lot of fangirls and that they're more loyal than fanboys, so what gives?

It's been a month since this solo was released and it has the same amount of views BTS can get in 24 hours...

Stream Don't Say No

Don't say no to Seohyun

Apart from digitals, she did great for a female solo. The only ones that outsold her are Taeyeon, Jessica and Tiffany. What are you saying?

But you're just a troll hater so you ain't gonna listen anyway.

I'm listening

Do you know how much she has sold so far cumulatively since her album was released?

because sones only care about teyeon .

jokes aside.. mostly only "popular" member will do "well" bcuz of public.

no one's checking for anyone outside of taeyeon

Yeah, i guess sometimes this is just the hard truth we have to live with

it'd be nice is more solos of other members became just as successful

Seohyun has the talent to do so

I don't follow her sales but in her own sales thread, it says that she sold 33,041 for January. She's still selling.

those are pretty good numbers especially for a solo imo

not bad

people need to know how " sones" or our fandom work.

people always saying taeyeon this, taeyeon that..

taeyeon is the most popular member in snsd by far. people wanted tiffany numbers for some reason due to mentality of her been more popular then her.

also, solo albums are made just for the person fans

i did not see other members stans buying or supporting tiffany, taeyeon or hyoyeon. its like wtf

Yeah definitely, and Seohyun is not even one of the most popular members in her group so I believe she did good. People just need to stop comparing her to Taeyeon because TY, alone, is on another league in terms of kpop female solos in general.

public song and her public recognise in the name of singing ,she had not experience to feat. or sing famous ost. so far

and Seohyun is the least member to had individual programme on TV before solo she just had camio job and 1 variety on TV in 2011 that so long

but for physical sale that OK cause from hantao more 20,000 and gaon more 30,000 album

She can do better if she sing a song like taeyeon' Rain or something like 11:11

and yes, hope she will have a good song in her next single or next album

and I see the problem of Seohyun is how to trendy right now

cause She done everything well in live performance no one can bash her all her youtube clip everyone praised her

 âœ“  good live singing

 âœ“  good dance

✓  sexy body

✓  good perf.

but she not in the singing trendy in Korea digital ,you can see many good song used to ignored cause the singer not

famous but some bad song can famous cause singer famous so if she want to more success in digital she should go

to reality or lead in the drama for support her trend
