Article: Stellar Gayoung speaks up amidst controversy "Thank you, I'm sorry, I love you"

Source: Sports World via Nate

"Don't worry. I'm okay. I have strength thanks to you and I'm happy. I'll work hard. Have a great day! Thank you, I'm sorry, I love you."

1. [+1,720, -56] I'm really worried for Korea's idols... the only thing I ask is that they never perform at the finale for the olympics and the Asian games. We must invite only the legends.

2. [+1,562, -73] So are you selling your albums or your bodies

3. [+1,021, -46] Stop this media play marketing

4. [+94, -10] Disband instead of media playing. Don't you dare call yourselves singers anywhere else. You are the worst in history.

5. [+89, -3] You're thankful, sorry, and you love them? What psycho talk is this?

6. [+85 ,-7] Isn't this exactly the reaction you watned? Why act like you're the victim now?? Nobody's worried about you at all so what're you saying is okay? You stripped for your own gain, don't act like you're the victims in this.

7. [+70, -15] I wonder what kind of people their parents are

8. [+67, -3] Soon we'll have a girl group with a concept that covers nothing but their nipples

9. [+57, -4] I wondered while watching their music video... for what gain are they stroking their chests, sliding their hands between their thighs, and dancing in sexual positions? Are they that poor and hungry that they must resort to such gimmicks for money?

10. [+54, -7] It doesn't matter if your fans or the public is okay with it... Your parents aren't okay with it.

fans don't understand that being an idol means that they have to work their butt off for all the money that the company have invested in them

but i guess idols will always be blame for, while all the people responsible in the shadows are collecting money and pulling strings controlling the marionettes(idols)

Even if it is the companies decision what the concept is...the idols are not slaves.

They can make the decision to go on stage and dance like that or not

Being an  idol is not the only job in the world.

They can go back to school or do something else.

I love a sexy concept...but shouldn't their be some kind of limit?

I just watched that video and it was clear what message was being sent from the beginning....

and what the hell was up with the butt stretching move?

How does that even make sense to put in the choreography?

The costumes aren't the problem...it's the choreography...and if the girls were uncomfortable with it then they should have made an attempt to change it.

It's hard to be a rookie, and the desire to debut and make a name is strong, but I can't really distinguish this video from soft core pornography.

Especially in a time when people are critiquing other sexy concepts that are less provacative, to come out with a song like this is really bad PR.

However was in charge of that decision clearly does not have the girl's best interests in mind.

That being said, I can't even say anything about the song. My focus was on the girls...

If you are going to have a provocative concept, at least pair it with a memorable song.

Be Ambitious and Female President are memorable songs. Yes they had sexy dance moves but we remembered the song as well at least.

It looks like you don't know, so I'm telling you

When idols sign a contract with an entertainment company they are at the mercy of that entertainment company, and even more so they don't have their own choices if they are rookies/not very famous. They have to work and work and the money all goes to the company instead of them.

Do you think Stellar can just say, "Sorry, I don't like this concept, so I'm not going to film this MV. And also I'm not going to wear that outfit, and I won't do this or that either" ?

You seem to be someone who thinks it's so easy to be an idol. It's not. People do what they have to do, so why are you judging them based on that. The company is taking advantage of this group most likely and marketing them as nothing but sex objects

If you want to judge them for the concept then judge the company, not the group

I never said it was easy.

But it is a choice...and it is not the only choice out there.

Also, I did put most of the blame for the concept as well as the backlash on the company.

I am well aware of what the idol industry is like.

My question is what is the price of fame? How much is any one person willing to submit to for the possibility of fame.

It's not always a choice to do this or this concept, or etc. In the idol industry there are many grey areas, and especially for women, since they are treated even worse.

Besides, choice or no choice, there's no reason companies should take advantage of their idols. They are human beings, not simply objects

So if their companies say they have to bare everything but their nipples in the next concept they have to go along with it?

Come on, theres got to be a line in the sand.

Come on, korean companies arent that insane.

even the old kpop acts were still clothed, no matter how sexy their concept was. the thing is these girls has no bargain right to the company, esp when they come from small companies. they are even controlled for the way they talk etc.

I suggest people to watch nine muses predebut doc to understand what the real struggle of nugu rookies is.
