I watched like the first 20 or 30 minutes and I just didn't undertand why the fuck I was watching it so I stopped

But my friend who had recommended the movie described the rest of the movie for me and I'm honestly glad I didn't finish it because wtf

I've heard lots about it though...  :omgwtf:

It's disturbing (the book anyways)

I don't recommend reading that kinda stuff TBH, I just ended up disturbed knowing this kinda stuff is really happening in the real world. But I guess you become more awar.

I understand people like watching messed up things like this for whatever reason but IMO I wouldn't waste your time filling your head with that kinda stuff.

The Stanley Kubrick one is okay to watch just to follow his filmmaking, it's entirely different to what we know him for (The Shining, 2001: A Space Odyssey, etc.). I watched the latest one just to see the difference and honestly that creeped me out far more, especially reading some of the behind the scenes stuff involved and you see way more of went on. Not only that, but it fails to understand the very basic message of Lolita: It's not the girl that's the problem, but the man.
