For a group that was criticized for being too "cookie cutter" at the beginning, they've never really had a repeating concept. They always change things up. They keep things interesting and you don't know what direction they'll go. Even their solos reflect that. Each one is unique to that solo artist and isn't just composed to take #1 in the charts riding on the SNSD name. Best believe, SM could easily write a catchy hook song with a 3-4 word repetitive phrase that would easily take South Korea by storm because they like simple, basic pop like that...but SNSD/their solos don't go the Gee route anymore and I like that.
