Mr.Children to provide theme song for movie "Seiten no Hekireki"

It's been announced that popular Japanese rock band Mr.Children will be providing the theme for the film "Seiten no Hekireki" ("A Bolt from the Blue"), which is based on the 2010 novel of the same name written by Hitori Gekidan.  The song is titled "Hanatareru" (放ãŸã‚Œã‚‹; Emergent - not quite sure on that translation) and is described as a mid-tempo ballad with a bright message.  The method of delivery for the song has yet to be decided, but the movie will release on May 24th of this year.

If they opt for physical single release over a digital single release (which they've tended toward lately).  Honestly, for all we know at this point, this could be the lead-up to a summer album.
