I just found a snake inside my house.

It was slithering around a corner while I was going to get a bottle of water and it startled me for a second, but I actually love snakes! It's actually pretty big! I wonder what's it doing in my house or how it got in, no doors or windows open... fascinating creatures indeed.

What should I name it?

I should take it outside myself before my dog sees it, chases after it and kills it  :._.:

:omg:

What kind of snake is it?

It's actually very odd-looking, because it's not too fat or too skinny, it's like intermediate, but I can tell it's not poisonous because I've seen some like these before and they don't really hurt anyone. There are some you need to stay away from, though.

Name it Slytherin :D

That's not a bad idea!

I love snakes.

Same, they're really pretty. This one is really pretty.

You're reacting pretty well to this.

If I were you I'd burn they house down (and I do like snakes).

What? Why? It's not going to do any harm, lol. I already picked it up and brought it to my room until I decide to put it outside, and it's just so calm and cool.

Aah poke that thing out of your houseee

I won't poke it out! I'll carry it outside later.

:omg:  If that was me, I'd be breathing into a paper bag by now and crying for my mommy

Wow  it's harmless, really.

Poisonous or not, their bite hurts like ****...get the thing out of your house!

I had a dead snake in my yard, and I had a fit over it (might be the fact that I watched a bird fly down, pick it up...drop it...pick it up and fly towards me before dropping it feet away from me...

Snakes are lovely, I babysat my cousin's once in a blue moon...but...get it oooooooooout!!

You're Puerto Rican too, right? :)

Since there's a waterfall really near my house, I guess they come from the wet areas, near the streams.

This one hasn't bitten me yet  :._.: maybe because I've treated it nicely. You're never supposed to grab them close to their head, grab them by their mid-body!

lol snakes and harmless are two words that definitely don't go well together in my dictionary. I once saw a snake on the other side of a dirt road from me and legit screamed.

The first time I fell in love with snakes I was like 10 years old and I got a beautiful snake wrapped around my neck and arms and I fell in love with it.. It was so playful and cute and squishy idk I've loved them ever since. That one was a trained pet though.

Yeah, I'm Puerto Rican.  :) Raised in Atlanta, GA though (which is probably why I don't mess with "wild" snakes). Darn those Copperheads and Cottonmouths everywhere...

The buggers are sneaky even with windows and doors closed. But if you managed to pick it up and it didn't do much, then it's all good I guess. Just don't keep it with you for too long, let it go (let it goooooooo, let it goooooooooo)...

Lol it's just me if something really surprises/startles me.

I'd put it outside, but then in the back of my head I'm like "What if there's more?" Then for the next two weeks I'd looking over my shoulder, checking under my bed and in closets for snakes.
