Why are some korean feminists mad at BTS' "glass ceiling" lyrics from Not Today?

Isn't it nice that they are addressing issues that kpop groups rarely talk about? Plus, they talk about all "underdogs", not just women.

This controversy is probably the most idiotic one they had so far.

BTS members are progressive kings and they should be allowed to talk about current issues in our society.

Actually the most idiotic "controversy" is hair color plagiarism.

Oh My God, this is so dumb I can't believe people are actually trying to drag Bts when they're encouraging people to fight against prejudice and injustice. This is like BLM people that tell white people they can't support. It doesn't make sense to me.

here's a link to a translation of a pann post about this for the confused

reaching because someone hasn't taken intro to women and gender studies 101  honestly hilarious

they're mad because it sounds like BTS as the privileged group (men) are telling the unprivileged group (women) to help themselves and break the glass ceiling themselves when men are the ones who created it in the first place

but like

glass ceilings exist for men too...men of minorities, men with disabilities, men in the lower class, etc.

+ the song literally starts with the line "to all the underdogs in the world" so obviously it's not just about women l m f a o
