Great performance, a lot of energy and command of stage. I'd pay to see this live. Also love that they keep having live music with the band. I think only YG and JYP do this in their tours.

I have this on repeat now, it's AMAZING!!! I'm really in awe with how great this performance is. So much energy, such powerful music, the choreo is nice too, I love everything.

 

I'd gladly go to one of their concerts.

There are times when even GD has a hard time keeping up with CL.

 

I'm gonna have to disagree with you on this. There's a difference between performing solo and performing as a unit; when you perform as a unit, you should work synergistically with your partner, not try to overpower them so that only you can shine. But I guess that's the difference between a veteran performer and someone up and coming.

 

A good example of a synergistic unit is GD&TOP.

Ok this may sound hypocritical coming from me and I have not seen ALL the performances by 2ne1 but holy shit isn't this a concert? Not a comeback stage or a freaking studio recording.
This is a group we are talking about and in this case CL is screaming to hype the crowd which is a pretty normal thing to do, they have thousands of fans over there screaming their names ain't it right for CL to do the same?
Crush is the kind of song that makes people orgasmic if it is sang by 2ne1 even in their worst day the rest are pulling through with their singing but overthetop actions are what define concerts in general.
If the studio recording is great and she sings great in comeback stages why should people care so much for a CONCERT?

I hate it! She keeps ruining every performance since 2011 because of this. Not only are the performances ruined, her voice is as well. She can hardly sing ballads anymore. I hope to God she doesn't scream in Inkigayo or any music show for that matter.

How can anyone be satisfied by her screaming like this? Just because they're Blackjacks it doesn't mean they have to put up with everything like CL's screaming.

I'm a Blackjack and I'm wiling to criticize the girls when need be. 

In my opinion this was probably their best performance in a long while. Some Blackjacks including myself have said that some of their performances last year was sub par and this is a step up for me.

The Crush performance was the first one of the night and CL was trying to hype up not only the crowd but the 2NE1 members as well and I think she did a good job of it. The only time I ever have a problem with her screaming is when she's rapping. I agree with many of the users that at times she needs to tame it down a bit but its not a big issue for me.

The performance was great for me. Was it perfect? No but its not only CL that needs to work on things but everyone else as well.

 

this is what always amuses me when people say they have great stage presence. doesn't take much to shout and jump up and down. anyway... it didn't bother me that much. What did bother me was all you could hear was her. It was like a CL concert and the others just backups.

Here's a performance that has been praised by many people and I don't hear any screaming there

I could see where CL is coming from. When you're performing, your stage presence takes over and you feel the music. 2ne1 is trademark for their "hard", "bad ass" traits. If I were CL I would probably be doing the same.

yeah GD doesn't scream all the time but he always does this "repeat after me" thingy example "say ho ho.. say ho ho ho then scream" or "when i say swag u say check" "when i say get your u say crayon" i'm not bother by it but sometimes i face palm and it makes me laugh lol..like CL i'm not really bother by her screaming cause i know she does it w/ the purpose of wanting to hype the crowd but sometimes i cringe cause it doesn't sound good at times and yeah so basically i agree w/ u...lol..

 

this reminds me of GD's BAD BOY performance at SBS Gayo Daejun 2013. His " Bounce, bounce with me" was so freakin annoying ;D

this is what i dislike about BJs, they like to use BB positive examples in comparaisons so 2ne1 would look good and on par (because sincerely what's better than being compared to BB) but 5 minutes later they start shitting on BB. BB are much much better performers, the 5 of them prove their existence on stage, 5 forces going hard at once and no one of them lets himself get outshined or overshadows the others, they are the perfect match, not 1 only screaming her voice to damage to hype up the crowd while the others are silently hanging around.
