Come back home was terrible comon the CG work was repetitive and it felt lazy. I've been a blackjack since day one and I can say that I feel truly disappointed. On the other hand, HAPPY was awesome some of it was filmed a loong time ago tho...

Both MVs improved the enjoyment value of their respective songs.

 

I already commented on CBH on another thread, so I'll just comment on Happy.

 

The Happy MV just makes me...happy.

And nostalgic for the days I used to hang out in Downtown LA.

I actually met one of my exes at the Orpheum.

I still like going to concerts there.

This is what I got but I don't know if it is correct (sorry...I was lazy so I'm copying and pasting from another post that I did.).

 

When I watched it, it seems like it is inspired by the Matrix. And the story centered around Dara as the main character.

 

Dara and her boyfriend are together, and her boyfriend saw the commercial for the virtual paradise. I think he was a drug addict, so that's why he was crushing he medicine under the spoon, yet it seems like he hate being it. He choose to go into the virtual paradise to escape his suffering, so Dara is left with a person who is no longer with her (hence her tear).

 

I think Bom, Minzy, and CL also lost a person that they love due to the virtual paradise. That's why CL destroyed the electrical box that was advertising it (in the real world). The lab (in the virtual world) first had Bom and Minzy mixing up chemical to create several bombs. When CL came in with her rap (from the unplugged version fo CBH), she saw Dara, the newly added member.

 

Dara went back tot he real world, to see her boyfriend one last time. She pulled the plug on him to save him from being in the virtual world because they are going to destroy it (or another interpretation is that she pulled the plug on him so he died because the next scene shows his chest collase or his stomach collapse because he wasn't breathing). Minzy, Bom, Dara, and CL then went into the virtual world.

 

Minzy drove to the venue with the bombs, while Bom was performing at the venue. CL, Minzy, and Dara went to destroy the venue and bomb the place. With the lost of her love, Dara joined the group as they reck havoc in the virtual world.

 

Also, I love the drop...it's creative. It represents the transition that they go through by going from the real world into virtual reality.

I liked the mv for Happy. Nice hd close up shots of the girls. So close close up you can see the glue on CL's fake lashes in the beginning lol. But they all looked very pretty and I can forgive that mess on Dara's head. My only problem with it was that it was too bright.

 

Come Back Home was okay. I think it could have done away with those 90s looking seizure inducing scenes and it would have been cool to see some dance moves. Those parts made the mv look kind of cheap even though they spent a lot on it.

 

Overall I'm satisfied with the music videos. :)

i like the concept for comeback home

 

but it was kind of boring..it could've been so much more epic

this.

 

especially when it got to the psychedelic parts which were just repeats of each other and not really interesting to begin with. much prefer the song and MV of come back home to happy, though.

O wow. The CBH mv was amazing. 500k was well spend. I understood it immediately first time seeing it. You all need to read some books and watch some movies.

do you remember the youtube comments on k.will's "please don't..." mv? :v
