CL's name almost everywhere, like I'm so freaking proud of her for stepping up and she actually tried and succeeded.

Getting out of the comfort zone to try new shit. The fact that they released the songs, she produced when she started training not too long ago. I'm getting emotional

Oh and pretty sure we would still be waiting for that album to be released if she didn't step it up.

 

I jut get really excited for this album.

This is what made me most excited about the album. It confirms/proves multiple things:

 

- 2NE1 is no longer completely dependent on Teddy and other figures

- YG actually still has faith in 2NE1

- The album was delayed because YG wanted 2NE1 to step up

 

I wasn't looking forward to a 2NE1 with half-assed reject songs like FIL and DYLM, which is why I distanced myself from them. But this is great. I hope the songs are good and this is the start of a 2nd chapter for 2NE1... I honestly lost faith it'd ever happen but here we are.

So crush isn't the title track, or even one of them. Seems the album is more of the lovey dovey 2ne1 stuff of late, dunno how things will go down.

 

And having supposedly 4 MVs seems very inefficient with how they gonna release all songs at once, would've been more sensible by staggering releases like they've/big bang previously done did it.

Well this looks interesting. Lots of different YG producers. Some of these guys worked with Seungri & Lee Hi I think? I liked both of those albums, so I can't wait to hear what they've come up with for 2NE1. Choice & GD are always good and I think Teddy will benefit from all of this collaboration. Excited!

 

Also, I'm glad to see that YG is giving some creative control to one of the Women in the company. Good for CL. I hope she does well so that more of the women in the company can get to shine.
