I think YG is making a bet here, like 2ne1 Tour Title, All or Nothing.
I believe YG already decided that the album will drop before the tour begins, he just didn't decide the exact date yet.
he is waiting SM to announce SNSD exact date, and then he announces their release date close to SNSD ( at least the digital release , lol)
This will hype the media with SNSD vs 2NE1 thing, give more hype to their comeback
and for sure althought YG sucks so bad at scheduling , he still has a brain.

He knows if he release the album really close to SNSD, the album need to be very good, or it's just a suicide move..
so IF, this is a BIG IF, 2ne1 beat and "Crush" SNSD at least digitally, imagine how many media plays he can do to hype 2ne1 even more.LoL

So, in conclusion this move is really All or Nothing for 2ne1.
To push to the very top position or stay at number 2.
This is my opinion, don't bash me on this lol

Wonder If YG still has another "bomb"

Didn't 2ne1 usually have several mv in an album?
So far YG only says about releasing mv title track teaser on 24 though.
I doubt that releasing the songs on 24 without any mv will be enough to contest CNBLUE and SNSD hype .

what if he will be making 9 NEW MV's for that 9 NEW songs from the album? 

9 New MV seems so unrealistic , hehe.

it will spike the album cost production to sky.less profit for YG and 2ne1

 

but CL in 2-3 months ago said that she want in the new album , that every song need to have a perceft completion.

Has a choreo for perfomance (something like that line, I forgot and too lazy to search the interview)

So, I think the album might have several title songs + mv.
