I'm gonna have to disagree with you on this. There's a difference between performing solo and performing as a unit; when you perform as a unit, you should work synergistically with your partner, not try to overpower them so that only you can shine. But I guess that's the difference between a veteran performer and someone up and coming.

 

A good example of a synergistic unit is GD&TOP.

this is what i dislike about BJs, they like to use BB positive examples in comparaisons so 2ne1 would look good and on par (because sincerely what's better than being compared to BB) but 5 minutes later they start shitting on BB. BB are much much better performers, the 5 of them prove their existence on stage, 5 forces going hard at once and no one of them lets himself get outshined or overshadows the others, they are the perfect match, not 1 only screaming her voice to damage to hype up the crowd while the others are silently hanging around.
