what do like about kpop dance covers?

So obviously dance cover are now a trend on youtube

and lots and lots of people do it 

but what makes a specific cover stand to you?

 

do you like it when people basically try to create

a brand new mv/story line around their dance covers

or do you prefer when they simply do a perfect reproduction

of the choreography

 

would you prefer it if people made their own choreography on the song

 

I do dance covers and I'm just

trying to get a general idea as to why people watch them

to improve my videos, thankx

I like covers!

 

The choreography, because they covered my faves, and sometimes the setting are reasons as to why I like some. A well executed dance performance of a kpop song at a talent show is always nice

i like covers that are a lil funny and sorta parody the original artist like this cover

Because they covered my favourite ofc. If my bias gain recognition then I'm happy for them.

They show you that even simple choreos require a lot of effort, finesse and plain 'ole ability    (much less the complex ones)

But I enjoy seeing people do what they enjoy unabashedly & enthusiastically w/out caring abt ridicule

bc they covered my favs, but mostly because i like watching them slay the choreography

I don't care about dance covers. I like singing or instrument(like piano, violin) covers though.
