You don't need one to have massive success and make massive profits and be legendary. The importance of the international market is changing the game for Kpop groups and creating new avenues for new legends to be born. You don't need a Gee anymore. Changing the game? lol It'll be like the kpop cycle all over again. Back when hallyu wave in first generation is in full force, quiet down, then come back again. Being popular outside from your home country is not sustainable, once the hype and trend goes down, they'll just be another group that was once on the top. And then another group would get popular in the next few years again. Rinse and repeat. It's a cycle, only few gets to stay on the top.
