(Kahi should've been considered the top imo, but everyone slept on her) So, I was wondering since we're in a different generation of groups, who among the current generation would be consider the the new female dancing trinity? Seulgi, Lisa, Chungha, Momo, Eunjin, Yooa...there's so many amazing dancers... BoA, Hyoyeon and Minzy / Kahi / Victoria / Jia / Min / Nicole / Hyuna / Bora were usually on "best female dancers" list. But to my memory the third was usually between either Minzy / Kahi / Victoria / Hyuna without a clear winner. As for this generation, then it'll be most definitely Seulgi, Yooa. I've never though about it in that perspective before. It does seem like dance is taken more seriously and more people are interested and focused on the dance aspect nowadays. I wasn't really sure if BoA was considered a 2nd gen. idol or not since she debuted like in 2000 and she was a lot earlier than the other idols I listed who debuted in 2007/2009 and are considered 2nd gen. I've always considered BoA one of the top when it comes to dancing. I listed Hyuna, Minzy, & Hyoyeon because they are the name's whom i've seen top lists the majority of the time and were the most mentioned when it came to dancing. Yeojin 3,402 Posted February 12, 2017 Share Posted February 12, 2017 Like someone stated above there's no clear trinity cause this new gen as a whole has really stepped up their dancing game I'd say top 3 is Chungha (obviously), Lisa (her real strength seems to be free styling and as a dancer myself, I'll always think of a 4/5 choreography following dancer who can freestyle > a 5/5 choreography following dancer who can't freestyle) and lastly Momo for her great versatility Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

BoA is in the same generation as TVXQ and Epic High, which is 2nd, I think. I honestly didn't remember seeing Hyuna, but I looked it up and she was in the old lists. Perhaps it's a matter of exposure. If I were to name top 3 just as I remember it, I'd say BoA, Hyoyeon and Kahi/Minzy (I think Kahi was mentioned more in the earlier times and Minzy was mentioned more in the later times).
