Utada Hikaru transfers recording labels and will release a new song within the year

Starting March 1st, she will be under Epic Records (Sony Music Labels).

"I have decided to transfer to Sony Music Labels.

Last year, I created and released a new album after a long break. It was a turning point for me as a musician as well as a person. So after my contract with Universal Music ends, I will make my first 'move' as an artist.

 

From Toshiba EMI to Universal Studio, my activities were supported by many people and I cannot thank them enough.
