Everyone propably had binding contracts. And nothing is so black and white in this mess that happened. Not the top group but they were very well-rounded and their prospects were very good. They had strong physical sales (but not as strong as SNSD at their peak or even their latest, really), really great digitals (I think better than SNSD, but by now there have been lots of girlgroups with digitals that are better than SNSD's at a similar time, which still doesn't make them the best or anything), about 4 pretty relevant members (acting, variety, etc). XD I mean, even now there's an article out with a top comment positive about T-ara with 20k upvotes, but the comment's in english so I doubt it's your bog-standard knetizen upvoting it (much less writing it). Curious How would you deal with the antics , someone in your group getting threats there face would be cut up , someone in your group clearly taking the piss and doing no work but getting the same benefits ? They are living breathing people just as screwed up as the rest of us. I'm sure there was friction between them and probably no one was innocent as people make themselves out to be. Especially in the environment that KKS created were he basically said they were all in competition with each other and he can phase out old members and bring in new members anytime. I still don't see any evidence that negates what happened to Hwayoung which i do think was overblown and compounded by KKS's firing of her in the midst of the controversy. Hyoyoungs messages were definitely bitchy but there is no context in the messages. In fact the only context their is what Hyoyoung said which is she was mad at them for how they treated her twin sister. I would definitely say shit like that just less violent if i believed some people were doing that to my brother or sister. I really do believe this whole scandal was blown out of proportion then handled awfully by KKS he turned what could of been a small argument between group mates into a scandal of massive proportion by making Hwayoung a martyr. The girls never bullied Hwayoung, maybe reprimanded her for her lazy ass but never bullied her so the girls were faulted for something they never did to begin with and they had to watch their entire career crash and burn because of this witchunt. Can they be a top group again? I'm afraid I don't care at this point, I'd love for them to get back their status but as long as the girls are happy and safe from the tremendous hate they've been putting up with for 5 years then I'm content. silicon soul 19,457 Posted February 9, 2017 Share Posted February 9, 2017 Tbh all off them screwed themselves over - T-ara posted those tweets which ignited the whole fiasco - Hwayoung was going round being the victim - MBK said there were indeed problems when the group on both sides and kicked Hwayoung out - Hwayoung admitted she didn't get along and eventually T-ara also mentioned they didn't get along The whole thing is a dumpster fire and Hwayoung and her sister poured more petrol into it now.
