So some friends and I decided to hire this brilliant older student to make the essay for us ... he would work hard on our essay and we would pay him generously, we all win ....:p it was all happiness until this ugly nerd found out and felt "offended" and " disgusted" by our plans so she gently decided to inform the teacher who gently decided that she would no longer evaluate the essay but better discuss our verbal knowledge on the topic... almost everyone failed ... and although it's just the 10% of the final grade we all are so FUCKING ANGRY [emoji35] So no one is talking to her and every time she enters the room everyone go silent... like total silent .. it started last Thursday. today she stepped in the room everyone went silent as usual and she started crying and saying we were bullying her and that she will sue us all ....... So she can't do that right ? I mean we are not forced to talk to her and that's not bullying..... or it is? Sent from my iPhone using OneHallyu mobile app How old are you guy? xD Unless you're in elementary school I think no one can force you to befriend that girl, invite her to your birthday parties and stuff so I think it technically doesn't count as "bullying" and it isn't a crime not to speak to a classmate. So as long as you guys aren't been actively mean to her, like making fun of her, insulting her, being rude, etc. I think you guys shouldn't be getting in trouble. However from an outsider perspective you are ostracizing her and your teacher should be concerned by it. Like I said no one can force you to get along with her but I believe the teacher should try to solve this and encourage the group to reintegrate her. So I disagree with everyone telling this is bullying; like if I don't like someone I feel like I have the right to ignore that person specially if we were never friends to begin with. As nerd as that girl might be that's not how a smart person would act, you're literally achieving nothing by doing it and everyone can tell you're not going to get any praise nor be more popular among your peers by doing it so if she can't handle being ignored then it was a real poor call on her behalf. Like I had a classmate who was also kind of nerd and intelligent and one time the class wanted to skip a subject they didn't like and the professor had even agreed to let us skip that class as long as everyone agreed but this guy was like "fuck you guys, I want to have class and I'm staying" everyone was so pissed at him but he actually didn't give a fuck and it was kind of funny and admirable how he made the entire class mad. The thing is he literally didn't care about the rest, people were mad at him like for a day or two but the keep acting normal and eventually everyone forgot about it and it became more like a funny anecdote. So this girl might acted on her principles, or is just a rat, but in either case she clearly wasn't able to withstand the consequences of her actions so my advice to her (or anyone else trying to do something similar) is that she needs to be more firm if she's going to chose that course of action. Do your fucking homework like any other student. If you have a problem with her, go talk with her, tell her why you're so fucking salty, and make up.
