LONG POST INCOMING

 

ok so i just went to the kwave concert!!!

 

first of all the malaysian choices there were super nice and supportive;; they had one giant box of gifts for a.c.e, bought a cake for dongchan's birthday, and bought chicken for all the staff+ a.c.e to eat which made me rly happy. junhee's fansite (@ACEJUN_777) also sent us junhee banners which were so hq and we got other free goodies like pcs and banners !

 

then i got to see a.c.e (it hasnt dawned on me that ive actually seen them irl yet JSDHFJK) and im so incredibly proud of the performance they gave during their first intl stage FR

 

they performed 4 songs, intro (i dont remember the tile but it starts with gun sounds hsdkfj) cactus, pwf, and callin!! they ate all of their cds (not surprised) and performed with soo much energy i teared up

 

during the intermission, i held up the a.c.e banner and screamed rly loudly an hun saw me ;-; i want to cry;;;; and they said 'kami rindu kamu' which means 'i miss you' in bahasa melayu

I was watching it live and couldnt even see anything through that shaky camera but I was screaminhjshd. you really are the one who made that box ??  I saw it on twitter it blew my mind, I even showed it to my sister and she said that you can really see how much love and effort was put into it.

I might feel differently tomorrow but now I think this is the point Beat pulls all 5 out of both shows. They have so much potential on their own do they need to debut in these groups when we don't know these groups will do. Maybe they can do more as a group. Joining these shows was great idea but debuting Im not sure now.

 

Im ranting about Unit

 

Im crying Junhee is so underrated, I want to protect him from Unit. can he just say fck this and go get a week sleep. It wont make any difference, things he did and does behind the stage is never shown or credited, what's the point. at least he won't look like  dead tired like how he look during elimination period fansite pics. I guess he was too good and Unit had to hide him. was it so hard to even once give him some kinda story and edit. only thing they showed 9264823 times is him standing up early on first mission. I feel like that's the only thing casual viewers think of when they look at him. cause he was never given any other spotlight. and its not like there wasn't material for it. There were plenty things. Might be blessing in disguise but frustrating thing is not his kinda okeyish rank,he is ranking fine if he is able to slip into final. that his efforts were just never appreciated cause they weren't aired. He doesn't have to think he isn't good enough, When he is one of the best all rounder there literally. but I have hope in his self-confidence.

 

all of a.c.e needs to get out of survival shows asap im highkey hoping theyll pull a dreamcatcher mixnine and the unit doesnt deserve them

regarding mixnine/the unit i understand both sides and it is not an easy decision to pick where to stand

 

 

Since you brought up the unit, here I go again. We are grateful for both shows that a.c.e are competing in. They gave us new choice, they gave them the opportunity to show their talents, and they gave them the opportunity to make a name for themselves and a.c.e as a whole. What bothers us is the fact that they work so hard, give so much and yet they are given the screen time equivalent to dust. They have been leaders, they have contributed to performances, helped create choreography, helped guide other contestants and have done absolutely everything in their power to succeed, but none of that matters if no one on the outside can see it. Without their well deserved screen time, all their efforts will go to waste. It isn't fair that they go above and beyond and get nothing in return. THAT'S WHY WE ARE UPSET and we have every right to be.

My saga of trying to get a physical copy of the  Callin' album single is finally over lol   I was able to order it through a proxy on cdjapan in early December, and it didn't come in until this week. I got the 787th one. I really regretted not being able to get it like I wanted to when it released(and I wasn't able to buy a physical copy of Cactus unfortunately).However, I had some things going on I had to take care of. I'm glad I have it now though.

 

I also agree with a few of you guys on the idea that Beat should do what DC's company did. I actually thought that way for a few weeks now ever since DC's company did it, but kept it to myself as I felt kind of conflicted about it too.

I know the scale of the issue isn't like that at all, but I can't help but feel upset that their fans cannot be completely happy over the achievements, especially in Chan's case, although it might just a few people who think that Chan's case is sorta special.

 

There are several times I wanna celebrate his achievement with his fellow fans, yet sometimes I feel like I cannot do it freely with the og OT5 A.C.E stans since it seems like they're not completely happy about that. Not completely happy about his potential to rise in the show. While I'm just completely happy for him to be finally recognized for his hella talented self. I can tell I, compared to some of them, just have different reactions. I guess that's one of the main cause why I feel upset.

I just wish people can be truly happy for his achievements whatever it might entails later on.

some choices might not be completely happy but i know for a fact that majority of the choices rly do feel happy and proud for him!!

Do you have more infos or the context of the comments? I've been into A.C.E since their debuts and I've never seen anything about a Lei, I tried to search, even in korean, but there's nothing about a Lei and A.C.E being related

apparently some fans told sehyoon to show his abs?? but he looked rly uncomfortable and ppl know that he might be quite uncomfortable in his own skin atm cuz in some vids a.c.e has been talking abt how sehyoon is trying to lose weight

Hello all! I got introduced to this amazing group called A.C.E thanks to mixnine and the unit. Really impressed by them being such an all-rounded group. How can all of them be so good at dancing AND singing? Really impressed. I really love the acoustic covers they did.

 

A.C.E definitely deserves much more popularity and I hope they will rise both in Korea and internationally. Will be looking out for their future releases

Tragic how all the best singers are at the bottom of the ranking for the boys, The U is a mess. But, Kang Yoochan is a solid main vocal and is the saving grace of this lineup, at least he'll get a lot of lines. Can't wait for people to open their ears & eyes to him like they way people did for p101's Sungwoon.

I'm honestly completely apprehensive of 3 ACE members making it into the final m9 & the unit groups. What's going to happen to ACE then for the next year? they're competing with all of big dogs of the industry as well as the new bgs the big 3 are pushing out this year, they can't afford being inactive. This is not p101, I don't see the benefits of making the top 9...

 

Beat Interactive better have plans for them, even if they have limited finance- they need to utilize social media and push themselves out there. I'm not here for this amazing group falling into the abyss of nugudom.

ahhh dw dw theyre not gonna be inactive this year;; aside frm bk and hun in mixnine and chan in the unit, a.c.e will be holding fanmeets in various countries (i.e canada, brazil + more) they have hinted some stuff that theyll be doing, and there is the possibility of beat utilizing junwow too so we're definitely not getting inactive a.c.e this year
