I think they're referring to the actors/actresses' acting opportunities while they're under JYP, not their variety show opportunities... tbh most of the actors and actresses under JYP, excluding their idol actors/actresses, do not really have any representative work under their belt and/or is not really that popular in the industry. Anyway, I wish MHR will transfer to an agency that caters to actors more so that she can sharpen her acting skills and expand her filmography. I do want to see her on the small screen again. ;___;

Junho is a good actor and Choi Woo Shik is amazing too but they are not as pushed as others. John Park and Hyorin have never been pushed too much.

Even though they are doing pretty good and are generally popular (well more on Choi Wooshik tbh), they're not really pushed to more and/or better acting opportunities compared to some of the other actors that they debuted with. That's probably why Min Hyorin still hasn't got any representative work under her belt or has an extensive filmography even though she's been acting since 2009 and is under a big label.

JYPE hasn't kept up her momentum so the new agency will almost start from zero.

 

I don't see her going to YG. They want A or almost A-listers. They are also trying to grow new actors (like Nam Joo-hyuk or Lee Sung-kyung) from their modeling agency. Hyorin just doesn't seem to fit their needs.

I like certain acts and I don't really follow all actors/actresses either just the actors twitter account that's always tweeting stuff, I don't know where most actors/actresses come from in general in dramas.

 

Isn't generally Slam Dunk unnies her biggest thing recently?
