(I only like "July" and maybe "Juice") Who gain the most sucess after leaving EXO? MOONBIN 877 Posted February 4, 2017 Share Posted February 4, 2017 They're all really excelling tbh I really loved Tao's movie with Jackie Chen the Great Wall was such a flop tho I slept while watching it but Kris is probably the most successful right now mostly because of his ability to speak english i mean he's gonna be in that Valerian movie with Dane Dehaan and Cara and he was in a movie with Vin Diesel like do i need to explain more? He's landed a few lead roles in pretty solid movies by acclaimed directors and also just did Xander Cage (I don't really think the movie's any good but it's a feat to be in a hollywood film nonetheless). He's won best actor a few times, even at the Tokyo international film festival. So he's got some good rep there. He also is a global ambassador for burberry (he did a burberry edit recently) and closed for their london show. He's done a few notable shoots for magazines, including the one with Kendall. He's also done a few shows for basketball. He has the best global appeal of the 3 and a pretty solid acting career ahead imo. He's also arguably the most marketable, cos he 1) speaks english and is 2) tall and pretty good looking by western standards and 3) his music is more americanised. He hasn't really released much music, but July and Juice are closing in at 12M and 8M views on youtube so I presume that's going pretty well too. He's also released some OSTs I believe. From what I see, Kris has his own ifans outside of exo also and people who have just got to know him these 2 years for instance. He also has a pretty loyal bunch of cfans. He had a scandal recently but that didn't exactly dent his appeal to the public much either so his career is pretty resilient also. Luhan is probably more popular? But less successful than Kris in that he's kind of doing okay on all fronts and people like him, but he doesn't have as much sustainability. He's got Run Brothers under his belt as a steady gig though so his public recognition is pretty good. His music is doing fairly well, but it isn't honestly known as much outside of China. He had has some small acting parts but nothing of note and he's in The Great Wall soon but his part isn't very big either. Given that he doesn't have an English speaking role its kind of hard for him to stand out in such a movie. Still, I think he's doing pretty good for himself. Tao has a lot of negative public attention? Even with the chinese public, cos he's given several 'fuck you' interviews and he just doesn't really care as much about his public image. But out of the three I do like his music best, even if it isn't as well received. He IS a regular on several variety shows though so I honestly wouldn't be too worried for him.
