“They know when they get to the front door we do our ‘good mornings,’ and then it’s time to go. I’m always pumped up and then we start doing the moves and that brings them excitement and pumps them up for a high-energy class."

I wish I had me a cool teacher like that  :rlytearpls:

this is really cool

reaching out and being friendly with kids like this will get them excited to go to school and have fun in class. This is how education begins!!!

Teacher seems like a really cool guy and serves as a great role model for these kids. this is important

Glad to see there's still some teachers out there that take such a personal interest and care for their students. I had one teacher like that in the 3rd grade, best teacher I ever had. I've always had overwhelming anxiety, especially back then when my brother was going through his drug addictions. She took special interest in helping me, and also helping my parents find a place for free tutoring for me because I have always struggled with math. She really cared for her students until she retired and thankfully she is still a part of my life. I will never forget what she has done for me that most of my other teachers through the years seemed to either lack or could care less about.
