How likely is it that GaIn could win with FxxK U next week?

It's charting well and it has a MV, which matters to, say, Inkigayo (and Music Core, but Music Core counts physical albums so I suspect she's SOL there).  But the bulk of her views presumably came in the previous week (counting towards the current round of music shows rather than the next).  But still, this week it's charting better than her actual title track.

Of course I'm thinking about b.a.p's chances.  I think the main threat is from ppl who have already been winning and are still selling reasonably well (GsD, B1A4, TVXQ) although between the digital and physical sales I suspect B1A4/TVXQ are out of it.  Minwoo (the guy from Shinhwa if I got his name wrong) is not doing better than b.a.p physically or digitally.  Otherwise ppl were saying GaIn.  I don't really see it happening with Truth or Dare yet because it doesn't have a lot of time and isn't smashing the charts, but FxxK U seems like a different story?

EDIT: derp, now I see Minwoo on the ichart... he may or may not overtake b.a.p by the end of the week, but he's not doing exponentially better.  And he really doesn't seem to be charting on Melon for whatever reason, though his rank today on MNet (and Bugs) is quite good. o.O

i dont think FXXXU is up for nomination since its not allowed on broadcast (if it did..it would ve won this week already)

but Truth or Dare will probably be up against Soyou/Jung Gi Go and MinWoo

digitally: Soyou/Jung gi go >>> Gain >>>>>>>>> Minwoo

physically: Minwoo >>>>>>>Gain; and 0 points for soyou/jung gi go since its only a single

Fxxk U is the best song on the album. I didn't really like the rest of the album.

It was banned from Inkigayo so she can't get those broadcast points.

Edit: Wait I thought only SBS banned it? Did the other music stations ban it as well?

I don't think it's that likely, sadly. She probably won't be getting broadcast points or whatever it is they call it since it's banned and she's not performing it on stage either.

Oh, I thought I saw a lineup for one of the music shows where she was supposed to be performing it... everyone was like o.O but I didn't stick around long enough to see if someone said that was incorrect.  In that case, nvm, I guess.

It doesn't have to be a title track. GD won with 4 songs in the same promotion cycle IIRC.

Those were labelled as title tracks on his album. GD's album didn't have only one title track main. That actually goes for most YG artists. Like 2NE1 has multiple title tracks on one mini-album that they promote.

I think Beast has won with a pre-release track before, though.  Which is what Fxxk U is.  I don't think there's really a difference if the song does well, just the intent of the company if they were prepared to promote it (making a MV, having it broadcast, etc).

EDIT:hm, apparently not?  I'm not sure what I was thinking of....

Yeah. I don't know. I was aware that only SBS banned it. I thought she was still performing it on other music shows. I hope she is able to promote it.

Yeah, I think I was wrong about Beast, but I really thought a boygroup had won with a prerelease and weren't actually there to pick up the award (which happens often enough, but the circumstances stuck out for some reason).  I guess it really won't happen for her, though, because yeah, should've been this week with all the other girlgroups if anything.

2PM won with Comeback When You Hear This Song, but wiki claims Grown was a 2-title track album, so theoretically it wasn't merely a pre-release (and they won while they were promoting rather than before, so I must not have been thinking about them either)....

I'm sorry but I get that BEG and Gain and stuff is all grown up and mature, but they are going to fall from top tier if they keep it up with this 18+ sex rape murder explicit shit. It just gets banned from all the music shows, bad reaction from the general public.. I'd rather they do more of a concept like 'Kill Bill'

They aren't even on top tier though.

Gain said she won't be promoting Fxxk U on any music programs and it was never meant to be promoted on broadcast.
