Big 3 Idols don't need our pity

but I still can't help but feel it when I see certain comments. How is celebrating someones misfortune as "karma" for a decision THEIR COMPANY made okay?  :wut:  All the privilege and advantages in the world don't make it okay for you to forsake decency. KPop fans need to do better  :._.:

I think a lot have to do with inmature fans who can not realise Idols are manged as products and that the CEOs or public representants of a company have more things to do than work for Idols and obviously they like to forget that the desitions are made by more than one person

Correction, all idols don't need my pity. If I bought their albums it won't be because I pity them it's because I like the songs in it. If I go to their concerts it's not because I pity them it's because I know they gonna put spectacular stages and that I'm gonna have the time of my life at their concerts. But, I'll offer my condolences/pitty if misfortunes happen to them just like what I would do if it happens to everybody else.

I felt so bad for Sungmin when "This is Love" album was released during the height of his marriage announcement backlash, that I bought his album cover as well as the Kyuhyun version I normally buy when individual covers are released.

Big3 idols have it hard cause people have high expectations when they debut.

Yeah, I'm talking less about supporting their professional endeavors and more about universal human decency and sympathy.

Like an idol messes up their back and your reaction is

:har: This is karma for "taking" a hosting gig that used to be my small company fave's"

That is worrying behavior

I'm a kpop fan since 2nd generation started, and I have seen some small companies idols having opportunities similar or better than Big3 artists. Big3 artists have a better support for the artists development, it's true, but Big3 artists can also suffer with bad management and lack of resources for their comebacks; SM, YG and JYP already had their financial crisis period, and it was crystal clear the low budget for promos or the large hiatus time cause there was not enough money to make the huge promos that are always expected from Big3 groups.

I've stanned groups from small companies, and the 2 biggest differences from Big3 and small companies are: (1) Big3 groups need to cause an impact in the music market and small companies groups just need to do well on charts and sell well, rarely seeing the groups that influenced sth in industry (2) Big3 have a long-term career plan for their idols, sometimes the idol wants more than the company have to offer, it's normal in any business relationship, but we see they have a plan for most of them.
