When will girl group stans â„¢ realize their faves are not better than bgs?

When are girl group stans â„¢ (Not all girl group stans; the extremist collective within kpop who do nothing except slam bgs, bg fangirls and basically whine all the time)  gonna stop acting like their faves are wholly superior to boy groups? There is no competition or even any basis for sound comparison anyway.

As a kpop fan who stans a coed group, boy groups and a girl group, I think it's fair to say that:

No one gender's music is objectively better

No one gender's fandom is objectively better

No one gender's concepts are objectively better

No one gender's visuals are objectively better

Both genders just exist in their own great unique ways. Girl groups are amazing, I worship Nine Muses above all and I also follow several other girl groups too, but I've about had it the elitist attitude of some gg fans on this forum. Like get over yourselves seriously.

Many of ya'll want to act superior and play victim at the same time like...  :wut:

Prepared for the negs and lock tbh

all I see is a bunch of boy group stan talking about how boy groups have way better dancing ability and harder choreographies, how girl groups often recycle two concepts, how the girls' voices are annoying and high-pitched  :imstupid:

And can these extreme ones stop acting like every girl has to stan every girl group just because they're female, like what even is that reasoning????

Like they care more about them being girls than whether or not people like their music or even the members~

The same can be applied to some bg stans. Next.

ya tbh

i respect bg stans and i even listen to some boy groups, but I've seen a lot more bg stans hating on ggs than the other way around, maybe i'm missing something

either way, hopefully people just chill out and stan who they stan

Those people are generalizing assholes and they are wrong but I'd say those people are almost fringe among the general kpop fandom nowadays, a minority that is not taken seriously. When gg stans do the same thing, it is typically supported and encouraged (well on tumblr/twitter and so on, not OH)

I agree totally!

Yeah but bg stans don't have an underlying "internalized misogyny" narrative they can pull out like extreme gg fans can and do

It's not everyone of us ok

Never said that... my post is only taking issue with those batshit gg stans that do act that way and then cry foul if anyone disagrees
