In episode 18 of Talking Street, Dara talked about overcoming hard times and becoming more confident.

Gummy: 'Your voice is very pure and clean. I love hearing your voice.'

Taeyang: 'You need to think more positively and you'd be better if you talk positively, too.'

CL: 'Do you want to perform on stage? You can. You're good at that.

This is so sweet and nice :rlytearpls:

I like what she said about needing friends to talk to. She has a good support network around her.

I remember reading a statistic on here about Koreans having one of the lowest percentages of having someone to turn to...something like that. How they are more alone.

That is so sad!!!!

Agree on the friends part, when I'm down I just have to look at the people I love and I can see that I'm not alone.

Maybe having that strict "you're only friends with people your same age" mentioned in the Sulli thread isn't helping Koreans. Looking at the people she mentioned, none of them are the same age as Dara.

I agree, I'm not saying that it's bad because it does promote respect in the culture but it is very limiting.

Dara's lucky to be surrounded with people who constantly support her and that's amazing.

For reals? I thought people were interested in cooking and foodie shows. This is very sad.
