Ichig 6 Posted February 8, 2014 Share Posted February 8, 2014 How long it took you to make friends in the university, monday it is going to be my second day and I dont know what to do, today I spent some time speaking with different people although I don´t feel comfortable enough to call them friends, so on monday I don´t know if I should try to speak with them or just walk into the room and see how they respond, how was for you guys to find friends in the university? Chances are, they want to talk and know you too, esp. since if someone misses a lecture etc it's easier to obtain notes/get help if you know the people doing the same modules as you. It feels really scary when you're new but do remember that there are others who are just as scared and lost as you are. It will take time to make new friends, took me 2 years, be patient and try to hang out and do group activities, it's essential for bonding.
