Ever since produce 101 ans debut people have said that she has the potential of reaching this level

and even had the nickname of being called god-sejeong. 

After the release of flower way people started to bring this up again calling her the next IU.

As a long time fan of IU...I think Sejeong can become really successful in the future. She has a great voice,she's pretty,she's popular. She'll need a widely successful song. I mean flower path was successful but it can't be compared to the success of good day...If she releases a song that is good that it becomes the song of the year,I don't see why not. It might be hard for her to have much of a solo career since she's in a group.

One thing that really makes IU stand out is her writing her own lyrics. To be the next IU, Sejeong would have to write really good songs.

sorry to say this but her group is the thing that will hold her back. and looking at how her company manage their artist, its gonna be hard for her. she will be at eunji level if she is lucky. iu is soloist and nothing can hold her

Bolbbalgan reminds me more of IU, but in a band sound. But out of gg members the one that reminds me of IU is Shannon from Pristin.

She's always been talked about in k-media and by knetz as having the potential to be the next Taeyeon. IU is Sejeong's idol though. 

 

Idk about Sejeong's composing skills, so I'd say maybe more like Taeyeon in terms of her singing career if she continues to do more solo work. One of the reasons Sejeong idolizes IU is because she's also a successful acting-dol, and I know Sejeong's interested in acting as well. I think in that aspect, she could follow IU's career. She seems pretty natural from the little she's shown so far. 

 

She's got a bright future in singing, variety, and I think acting as well. Looking forward to seeing what's in store for her. Just hope Jellyfish can help provide her with good support and good opportunities.

As for Sejeong i think her name is make the group more known. Also her song got pak and no.1 on music show, she could definitely go solo and i think it's better for her. She could become a well round singer like Seo In Guk, her sunbae in Jelpi !

With group she can do solo activity, as soloist she cant do group activity. I prefer her doing both rather than only soloist. Simple, because i like seeing her more and i love seeing her interaction with members.
