SeeYaWithYou 4,415
I didn't care for the most part and I still don't care. The only time i ever cared was my faves would have collabs with others from their companies, then that would lead me to check out other artists from the company. Scuttlebutters 747
When I first got into kpop I didn't know there was such a thing lol. I never cared so long as the music is good and the members have talent and good personalities.
Acer 396
no..and i didn't know anything when i first got into kpop about KPOP artists companies until like 3 months later i spent some time to learn about the kpop industry behind etc.. mon chan 4,645
Didn't care when I first knew Kpop and wasn't a fan yet. But when I started to be interested I do care, only reliable companies can guarantee stable success for the group. I'm not here for constant moaning how my groups didn't do well cuz the company's management is shit.

Blazerel 1,010
No and I still don't. After learning about certain companies I do worry about whether some groups will be promoted well or not, but the company has never played a part in my liking or disliking of a group. dmalpieri 6,382
It was the group that just caught my eye that got me into kpop. Nothing to do with their company.
skcebl 5,968
No, though bigger companies will have access to more show appearances and will also attract more fans that sub their material. That's what affected me stanning SNSD when I first got into K-Pop even though I checked everything out at the time (2010).
TWLND 1,748
I don't care and I'm neither a stan nor an admire of any company. Company stans have their own pride and arrogance, they think their bias is superior because of the company, so I don't like that.

Kalii 1,874
For the longest time I thought SM and YG stood for some kind of slang, and then later I found out they were companies But I don't think an idol's company is that important. I mean I guess, at most, knowing an idol's company might help you predict how they'll do in the future.

Lalisus 1,588
No, and I don't care now. I used to think that SM and YG stood for some kind of concept or training system that I didn't understand. That being said, because I first discovered kpop through Bigbang, I sort of naturally began listening to 2NE1, Lee Hi and Bigbang first without realising they were all from the same company. From 2NE1, I discovered SNSD, 4Minute and so on. So I guess I was an unintentional YG stan for a bit lmao
Vick 4,283
I didn't, but I knew them before the small companies, I searched yg artists before I knew there is something called big and small company
