What's the worst roommate experience you ever had?

This didn't happen to me but my friend's roommate was pretty much attacked by her previous roommate with a bug spray. That same person also played music loudly without headphones at like 4 am and smoked weed in the room ._. I'm switching to another dorm on my campus and I'm worried about getting a cray cray roomie

mines did ice-cream :P and he would clean the entire room and do my laundry... he even iron my underwear which was not cool....

my other roommate won't clean his room... it was pig sty and you can smell it from my end ...

now, i have my own place and I don't want a damn roommate even if it's costly ...

i refuse to share with someone, they are straight for the first few months and then they fuck it up from there ...

I don't know how to make a spoiler so warning for 18+

I've never had a roommate because you have single rooms at dorms where I live, but the walls where quite thin in my dorm and I had a girl living above me and a girl living next to me who both always had very loud sex.

Usually quite late too for the one above me. You could always hear her moan and after a while you could hear the guy starting to moan too, and when he started to moan you new they where almost finished cause he was about to cum. The one next to me seemed to prefer sex in the morning though and sometimes woke me up by moaning when I had late classes.

That was an annoying combo.

my first year of college, i had a random roommate like most people. she was kinda psycho tbh lol. if i would come back to the room late she would tell me that i should start coming back earlier because we were at school to learn (this is like a few days before classes even started too). she started getting a little more crazy (details i wont share but smfh) and then she had a mental breakdown and felt overwhelmed by school and dropped out within the first week! i kid you not!! it was bizarre, but i got a super cool roommate after and enjoyed my first year of dorming haha.

duh, i had some horrible flatmates

for example:

- a girl stole money from me & never cleaned the flat & treated me like shit

- a perverted man smoked in my room when i was not there (i had to live with him because he was the landlord's nephew)

- another girl who never cleaned. she collected the pizza boxes in the cupboard  :derp:

- a boy who came to my room when i was asleep. he was staring at me while i was sleeping. then i woke up and almost got a heart attack. he never explained this to me  :wth:

my ex-roomate was the most negative person I ever met, everytime something good happened to me she would complain that her life sucks and I shouldn't be happy either, because it's not fair  :wth:  and when I confronted her about it, she said she has a lot of friends and no one said this to her yet, so I must be imagining things.....

the next roomate didn't shower for days, talked to herself all the time, listened to music/used the hairdryer while I was asleep.

during the 6 months we lived together she never washed her bedsheets, and she also left a half eaten meal in her drawer, which smelled so bad I couldn't sleep in the room, I had to move all the furniture to find what smells and I couldn't... and then she came back to the dorm and pulled it out from her drawer...  :twitch:

When I was living in the dorms, my first roommate took a leave for her anxiety disorder after fall quarter, and so for about a month, I had the room all to myself. Come middle of winter quarter and student housing stuck me with this roommate who had come from the room above who requested a room change because she couldn't stand her roommate and suitemates.

Well turns out that she was a nightmare. She never cleaned up after herself (for example, she left hair ALL over the shower walls and never cleaned them up, always left empty Snapple bottles lying around instead of throwing them away, and dumped HER trash from her trash can in our room into the main trash receptacle next to our front door and expected my suitemates and me to throw out HER trash rather than going to the dumpster right outside our dorm and throwing out her trash herself), frequently didn't lock the bathroom door so my poor suitemates would sometimes accidentally walk into her on the toilet since their room was directly attached to the toilet and shower part of the bathroom by only a door, and on the day we had to move out of our dorms, my suitemates and I were running around making sure the dorm was clean but she didn't even help. While my suitemates took turns vacuuming their room, I was the only one vacuuming my room while my roommate just sat there and watched.

She also had the nerve to ask if she could live with me and my suitemates off-campus next year (since only freshmen and first-year transfer students were allowed to live in the dorms when I first transferred to university) but my suitemates and I basically nope'd since we weren't going to put up with that nightmare again.
