Some said they the reason their shows get sold out in the US.

*They should of called out the fandom as a whole because all nationalities and races do it.

* He also had to edit his original comment

I don't really think those people are true fans anyways. They're just jumping on the bandwagon and pretending to like OOR because they're popular/gaining popularity right now and when some other group becomes popular they'll easily switch to that group.

Someone explain what that means

He and the rest of the members just want some peace and tired of JP fans bombarding them for pics. He also dont like JP fans coming to US concerts and pushing to be in the front row. The way he worded it caused a lot of mess in his comments from JP fans, some understand, some feel like they made OOR, and some are confused/sad/angry. There's also iFans jumping in too putting out their opinion too. He had to go back and apologize for basically for generalizing and not being specific.

Someone on twitter said JP media has caught onto it also.

I think he's just really tired and wants some space. He didn't explain himself very well.

I think so too, seeing how he had to post again and apologize about generalizing the whole JP fandom.

Anyway, I understand that some j-fans are making things a bit stressful for OOR, but complaining (?) that their very dedicated fans are traveling abroad to go to their concerts is way out of line.

I can see why that would be annoying, instead of playing to locals and expanding your fanbase you are playing to the same fans you play for in Japan(or at least the ones that has the money to travel abroad for shows).

Sure, but that's something you think to yourself (or gripe about privately to your bandmates).  You don't imply (hell, this is more than implying) that you don't appreciate your very dedicated fans' efforts to see you and support your music as often as possible, because screw you guys, success in Japan wasn't enough in the first place.

might you think they sold out their tour? FYI you could buy ticket the same day of each show....and that is not fault of japanses fans

Just a general view, the Grateful Dead had people who would follow them on tour.

They should be, no pun intended, grateful that have such loyal fans who would come all the way from Japan.

However, fans should be respectful to other attendees and give a little space to the band.

On the one hand, it's not like I approve of stalking celebrities or anything!  (Meaning following them to their hotels to take pictures or whatever, not going to all their concerts--I mean, is there a more proper time to be a fan than at a concert?)  But at the same time, do they not realize that if they actually became as popular and successful as they are hoping for, there will definitely be fans like this (and not only Japanese ones)?  Like, it's kind of inevitable?  If they didn't experience this with their Japanese fanbase while in Japan, I feel like these Japanese fans are just cutting loose now that they're not in Japan, but they're actually still pretty normal by local fannish standards.

i totally get that having the same fans buy front row seats to every concert (no matter the location) is exasperating but he should've known he would piss people off with the way he worded that lol

it seems rude and dismissive to non-fans and the obsessive fans but if you follow them you would know that these concert goers are kind of delusional and think they have a claim on him

Boxscore of Kpop & Jpop concerts outside Asia:

Remarks:

1. Blue represents Kpop acts, red represents Jpop acts (* update: concerts with multiple acts are included and highlighted in light color);

2. For a fair comparison, concerts with acts of different cultures or appeared as guest performers are not included (for example, Crayon Pop toured with Lady Gaga in 2014 however the sales numbers don't reflect their popularity);

3. The chart only lists concerts with sales figures found on Billboard Boxscore, Pollstar Year End Reports and Pulse Music Board (which keeps archives of Billboard Boxscore). I don't care whatever those press articles or agencies said or want me to believe.
