They did multiple collabs on music shows and had a music drama. Listen to those fanchant for both groups. This was on Music Bank. Big Bang even ask Wonder Girls to stay for their encore stage. Just look at how many people were promoting back then vs now. They were invited to perform again due to huge positive response presviously. You can see Big Bang make quite a bit of mistake but both groups and fandom enjoyed themselves. Them collab again, this time with a bit more skinship and both fandom are cool with it. Doubt this will happen with any popular groups now They match with each other due to close debut date and same number of members. Both were also incredibly popular back then. WonderBang era was the best ! The closest to those groups would be bts and twice big bang was at that time from YG who was relatively an unknown company .Like how bts is from big hit...Wonder girls are from jyp and so is twice. Lord of Cards 628 Posted January 26, 2017 Author Share Posted January 26, 2017 Gone were those days. I just created this thread yesterday and who knew today Wonder Girls officially disbanded. What we can hope for is JYPE to pick up the dying collaborative stages and restart the culture. Back then, both Big Bang and Wonder Girls have so much on screen & on stage chemistry that both fandom supported each other. Back when YG wasn't a part of Big 3, it was SM -> DSP -> JYP. Hopefully JYPE can connect with Bang PD and perhaps start a collaborative stage between BTS & TWICE with their upcoming promotion. I do hope to see something as iconic as Wonder Bang, not just a few representative of groups and doing cover dance only. Both groups are big and should be able to perform their own songs. They don't match in terms of numbers, nor debut date, but impact and popularity is comparable. I also think Wonder Girls will do a goodbye song on 10 Feb together with all Wonder Girls. Either 6 of them or 7 (+Hyuna). It'll be a nice farewell gift if they could also invite Big Bang to do 1 last collab for memory. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
