do you think jype purposely makes twice comeback at the same time as bts?

disclaimer: this is in no way a bashing thread or 'bts are victims1!1' thread, just random speculation/discussion.

am i the only one that finds it weird that twice's comeback is always really close to bts'? there have been plenty of people speculating that the industry/big companies have it out for bts and tho none of this is clearly proven and could very well be a load of bs, do you ever just wonder?

bts is a popular group now, if their last two comebacks were any indication. even from fire to bst, they showed an immense increase in popularity, public recognition and physical sales. but they're clearly slightly lacking in one glaring thing. digital sales. if bts was just a little more prevalent on the digital side, they would be absolutely solidified as one of the top 3 dominate groups of the current generation (if they aren't already).

*and here's where jype and twice come in. twice is the most successful girl group of this generation. and they accede in the one thing bts lags in, digital sales. with twice always coming back literally right when bts does, it kind of overshadows their songs digitally imo. could this be a calculated strategy?

*twice's february comeback is supposedly a repack with only one new song (pls correct me if i'm wrong on this! just going by what i last read). it's clear that jype is just rushing another digital hit from them asap, and probably for more reasons than one, but could it be purposeful?

tldr; twice always comes back at the same time as bts and overshadows bts digitally, the only thing they lag in. is it on purpose or a coincidence?

tbh, the industry is much dirtier than some people seem to believe.

wishing both groups successful february comebacks.

I don't see as a problem if BTS and Twice aren't affected that much. Cheer Up and Fire were promoted together but is the most popular tracks of both groups last year. Fire was released after CU and it was just a 1 week promotion, BTS snatched all the music show wins, as expected, even with CU having the digital power. Twice lose more with BTS's comeback than BTS with Twice's comeback.

And why people think that a repackage is a rushed thing? Or do you think a comeback is planned in just a week? The repackage was probably planned together with TT promotion so I don't get it this point.

Twice's announcement came out before bts tho... I think we should cool it with the Big 3 conspiracy theories...

wasn't twice's comeback confirmed before bts'??? im not saying either of them are doing it on purpose im just saying how could jyp have done it intentionally if they didn't even know when bts' would be?????

do you guys really think the "industry insiders" don't know who's coming back when way before official announcements? most of these companies get their albums distributed by the same distributors and probably have their stuff produced at the same factories. i'm sure it's not hard to catch wind of who's planning a comeback. and this is the 3rd time in a row that twice is coming back with in the same two weeks as bts. just saying.

Twice Feb comeback is rumored to be a continuation of TT "to be continued". So they had something in mind already back in Oct last year. Preparing for a new album isn't a last minute thing. And one thing JYP won't be doing is to finish all production and wait patiently for BTS to announce their CB date and then have Twice CB at the same time.
