He's the same Shin PD that said he wanted Joon to be apart of the Reply series. I wonder if he's considering him for this one? Mr. Baek has good ratings, but he's not really getting any attention for his acting. He got better reviews for his acting Gapdong. If he does it I hope this drama becomes his Misaeng.

 

 

Micky & TOP are doing really well with their movies. Junho is making his way up with his films. Siwan finally getting the praise he deserves. Now I just need Joon to blow up

Don’t know much about jtc but the reaction from the fans has been interesting tbh. I’m not a fan of the group, but from the interviews I have seen their very candid and straightforward with each other. I remember in the past reading Pann posts bashing them for not behaving like idols (lack of the "we're brothers & we love each other" fanservice). So I can't see them performing on stage together if they don't want to.

 

I'm curious though why some intl & kfans think they’re forcing MBLAQ in particular Joon to resign? I stan Joon but the comments about Joon being forced or coerced into staying by the agency don’t make any sense to me. I don’t think jtc has that kind power. It’s not jtc can blacklist them from the industry and plus their contracts are up so whoever wants to leave can.There is a possibility he and the others might want to stay and no one is forcing them lol.

 

After this whole thing went down twitter got a lot more interesting lol. Some people view MBLAQ as the victim and others only view Joon as the victim, I get it though everyone wants the best for their fave. I agree with you I don't think anyone is being forced to do anything. All these scenarios are flying around because how the situation is being handled. 

 

I don't get it either. JTC begging them to stay with better contracts makes more sense to me because since when has JTC been able to "force" them to do anything? If they had been forced, we would've got at least 3 comebacks a year and Seungho and Thunder would've got more solo activities. Even when Joon said he was fed up with variety shows his schedule was still nothing compared with some SM idols'... Of course I'm not saying JTC should follow SM or TS Entertainment but people should realize that whatever decision they make it will not be forced but out of their own will.

I tried asking a kfan and she went on about how jtc is taking advantage of them and manipulating the situation. When I asked her how she knew what was happening she just said that jtc is trash

 

All of them are grown ass men who have been in the industry for years and capable of making their own decision. The whole victim thing especially with Joon is pathetic imo. No one knows what’s happening he might be the one behind all of this lol. Just be honest and say you want him to leave to pursue his acting instead turning him into a weak puppet unable to make his own decisions. Stop acting like he’s the only victim in what might be a victimless situation. Unless somewhere in SK a jtc employee has a gun to his head forcing him to stay

 

No wonder some KA+ are over it and want him to leave the group. The constant pity party for him is getting old that no one even comments on his “leaving the group†articles anymore. I wonder how all the fans saying they'll respect their decision will react when their decision is finally announced

 

People can see him differently if he doesn't handle it well. We've heard a lot of them saying they wanted him out to pursue acting, but if he decides to leave the group I'm sure there will be comments like he betrayed his teammates he lost his roots he's selfish he's arrogant thinking he will do well blah blah blah... If I were him I would go to the army first before he goes fully solo to cool things down and it seems like this is what this "pabo" is planning to do  

 

 

Joonie's character in Mr. Baek doesn't require that much, any decent actor can probably fill in the role........such a stepdown from GapDong tbh.......and yeah I have to agree with you on this one.....it really feels like Joonie is "acting" ...........I hope he chooses his next project well

 

 

 

His character in Mr. Back is different from any roles he's done before but he's using the same approach to interpret it - It doesn't require much but he's putting too much effort into it... I blame it partly on jtc though because they don't know how to pick a project that suits his skill. Him having full control on his acting career is not helping either because this kid only likes "challenging" roles... We always wanted him to do a rom-com so that he can relax and have fun but when he was finally willing to do one he had to pick an unconventional one *sign*

The article said that he revealed that he has been driving himself to his filming & handling his own schedule. There was also the part about him telling JTC he didn't want to resign in October and that they were not supporting even though he still had two months to his contract.

 

What I find odd is that now its official there was no reason to reveal all this. Kind of suspicious on his part especially when JTC covered for them (Their lawyer released the statement that they were leaving w/o contacting them first to tell them their decision, but JTC didn't disclose that info later insiders revealed it.) He’ll just look like a liar because he said with his mouth he was renegotiating at the press con. Why say now you had no intention of staying? If you knew for 2 months he could have said so.

 

Shady behavior from both parties imo.

I hate all these talks from so-called "insiders" and "related party." Whoever leaked this information is trying to paint Joon as the victim to gain sympathy from the public and boost his image, but he doesn't need that and now looks like a liar like you said. JTC made Joon's non-renewal so obvious by not updating his schedule so they didn't really cover for him. And don't even get me started on the law firms from both sides... Imo not only shady but stupid moves from all parties involved

Whether it's from his law firm or new agency, this "marketing strategy" won't make a difference because everyone and their mom know JTC is trash. It's just making him look bad and giving people a chance to stir up shit so I hope he has the power to stop his law firm/new agency from leaking more information be it true or not.

The dating news is again one of those articles that's based on some exposure from an "industry insider."

 

Basically the article says they've been dating since the year end of 2013, so it's their 2nd year of dating (not that they've dated for 2 yrs). She's a non-celebrity so that they can avoid any "inconvenience." They don't meet much but she comes with him sometimes when he is meeting his assistants so no one will suspect. It also says that they dated so quietly that although the members and his collegues knew he was dating when he was still in MBLAQ they didn't know the details.

 

But why does the new agency have to let his dating be known? To boost up his image?

Didn't cry when I first listened to Mirror but I cried reading this. I was at the curtain call concert. Joon and Thunder had all the chances to speak up about their leave but they didn't. I understand that they don't owe us fans anything but I have to admit even I feel betrayed for not getting a legitimate direct farewell from them, so what do you expect the trio to feel? From what was said on the showcase and the lyrics of Mirror I think the trio, like us A+, didn't know Joon and Thunder were leaving and they probably even hinted/told them that they were staying. The trio just have the same feeling as I do - I have no problem with you leaving since you have every right to do that and totally respect your decision but I'm more upset that I was not fully informed as we were teammates. No explanation no apology no nothing. But again the knetizens misunderstood where the trio's frustration came from *sigh*

Was this posted? Its their showcase. Ugh this whole time I thought they were saying things in a completely different manner than how they actually said it. Allkpop made it seem so much worse 

 

 

I feel much better after watching it. Another case where the translation script doesn't translate the emotion and context and makes people misunderstand

 

It'd be nice if they included the part where G.O talked about the lyrics though.
