"Joon is a smoker" just popped up on my dashboard. I’m surprised too. Apparently he smoked in the film so they mentioned it. He said

"I usually smoke but whenever I have an important performance/role ahead of me, I quit. For this movie I deliberately smoked and drank alcohol a lot. "

At the star and shake he also said that he drank a lot of alcohol in order to make his body look pitiful (for the bedscene/s) which depicted sadness along with sexuality

All I can say is.... he finally confessed. I knew about him smoking for quite a while. It's 1 of those things that fans, including A+, would try not to spread, but I'm glad that he's honest and apparently knetizens are cool about it - after all lot of, if not most, Korean men smoke.

Every fandom has childish fans. We're just good at hiding them I guess. But they do make their appearance known from time to time like when Joonie was in WGM. Seriously I wanted to smack a lot of them around that time. There were some I-fans who weren't happy about the bedscene and that Joonie smokes. They're also saying that he's changed a lot. I don't really how he's changed. He has always said that his variety persona is different from the real him. I guess people just want funny the butt of all jokes Joonie which is only one aspect of him. You can find a lot of our immature fans on tumblr. Most of us here are adults and there are only a few who aren't maybe that's why we gave you the impression that there weren't any childish fans.

I don't go on tumblr and all the A+ I know from here and twitter are mature and sane, so I don't know what these so-called "fans" said about Joon, but if Joon had to post on daum cafe to tell them to stop bashing it must've been bad... Well, it's about time for those delulu J+ to go find another oppa to fantasize. MBLAQ already got quite a few bandwagon fans disappeared with their long hiatus after TIW. I don't mind them to clean up the fandom like this. MBLAQ and A+ don't need these childish fans.

As much as how popular MBLAQ is, why they never win any music show beside MCD? Are they really that underrated in korea? I find it very odd seen how popular each member is

1. MBLAQ and A+ like playing the game fair and square (i.e. no buybacks)

2. Their music is more mature than the average idol music and is loved by the older generation who would not do things like streaming and voting crazy

3. Jtc's marketing team sucks

4. Long hiatus between comebacks

5. Bad comeback timing (finally they got the timing of their last comeback right but sistar announced their comeback all of a sudden)

6. Lack of resources (they should have a couple of songs ready to be released anytime so that they can comeback as soon as they know there's no competition)

There are more reasons but I think I should stop here or I would look more like an anti than A+ :ninja:

guys, how did rough play did on box office  :chu: ?

I think it's doing pretty well considering it's a 19+ movie that less viewers can watch.

And Joon being the lead in Botox also says something about the investor's trust in his selling power.

As a huge rain fangirl, it really bothers me that people see him this way. After the switch, a lot people think of him so negatively.

In July C-Luv got so much crap about mediaplaying about working on Rain's new album and now that it will be released in Januray, looks like he wasn't lying.

I highly doubt that Cube is using Rain's comeback to cockblock anyone.

He's been gone for 2 years and the multiple scandals runined his reputation & image.

His fans me included have been waiting for hm to release new music because that's where he excels.

In order to reclaim he position he needs to dominate the music industry again.

I understand you must be upset about what happened, but let's give Rain more credit than that.

Besides, if Rain was still affliated with MBLAQ, we couldn't even dream about a January comeback.

As a stan both groups, I can understand your frustations. However, at the end of the day it's all about business.

To be fair, MBLAQ had more radio and tv spots then beast during their entire shadow promotions.

So, in my book their both even. Honsetly, both agencies could learn from one another.

I'm not worried because MBLAQ is popular.

Winining music shows and topping the charts lost it's relevancy because everyone can do it now.

Yeah everyone can do it now but still not MBLAQ. That's why A+ are frustrated about CUBE cockblocking MBLAQ and only MBLAQ.

But I agree with you. I don't think CUBE is using Rain to cockblock MBLAQ. Rain and MBLAQ promoting together would benefit MBLAQ more than Rain.

Why is it hard for them to comeback twice a year??? I don't even care about hyping but atleast 2 comebacks a year please huhu

Because JTC is not forcing/cannot force MBLAQ and MBLAQ is not urging/cannot urge JTC. They are lucky enough that despite their lacking in promotion and marketing their albums still manage to sell decently and media like MBC and Dispatch who love our boys keep them active in the public's eyes.

MBLAQ has a say in their music and a lot of other decisions which other agencies would never allow their artists to make. The good thing is that they are freer and happier but the downside is what we get now.

I bet SNSD will have a short promotional period in Korea so our boys can win after they finished SNSD's promotion and before Exo's promotion starts as long as CUBE doesn't release 1354 pre-releases for Rain.

[iNFO] MBLAQ will be releasing new Japanese single/ mini album in Feb 2014.

JA+ fans are saying the staff who worked with EXILE worked with MBLAQ  for their next album as well as the MV.

If that's true then give me a song like this pleeeezzzz cuz it's so EXILE

I thought i read somewhere before their "jekyll" album sales went over 100k

Yup it did. They even outsold beast according to the latest gaon chart (only available till Nov 2013)

And since I was on it, I also checked MBLAQ's album sales last year... It looks like less than 37000 diehard A+ are willing to buy their albums :omgwtf:

Really hope their new album is a full album that usually sells better.

Really ?

There is so many charts. Which chart did you use?

Gaon monthly album chart

http://gaonchart.co.kr/digital_chart/album.php?nationGbn=T&current_month=11&current_year=2013&chart_Time=month

#76 in Nov 2013 - Beast 100,977

http://gaonchart.co.kr/digital_chart/album.php?nationGbn=T&current_month=10&current_year=2013&chart_Time=month

#76 in Oct 2013 - Vixx 110,809

Not to mention that Beast's Hard To Love, How To Love was released in July and Vixx's Jekyll in August and while Beast's is a full album Vixx's is just a repackage of their mini album.

But the number can change when the yearly chart comes out.

So this comeback when is it.

Mir as 3 shows to MC

Seungho has 1 show and a musical

Doongie has a musical same as Seungho's called Moon night

Joonie is going to do Veteran film

G.O is supposedly also going to do a musical also.

Sigh... For some other groups and agencies this kind of schedule is nothing close to hectic but it's MBLAQ and JTC we're talking about :unimpressed:

I doubt their comeback will be delayed though because JTC needs to save the later time in 2014 and gets money for Pro C's debut.

Used Google translate

Lee Joon in "Veteran" look forward to it.

Last year "An actor is Actor" acting-dol Lee Joon has decided on his next role. He has confirmed his role in Ryoo Seung-Wan's action thriller Veteran.

It's official  :la:  :la:  :la:  :la:

edit.
Saw A+ saying that Lee Joon was offered the 2nd generation chaebol aka the bad guy role.
So I asked people on twitter and their saying it's a supporting role.
Who cares though he's in the movie
happy-dancing.gif

Gonna wait for a  kpop site to translate the article

I wanna see him to be the bad guy more than the protagonist.

Yoo Ah-in signs with new agency and positively reviewing Veterans???????

There so many recent articles all saying contradictory things.
The articles are not only recent, but released on the same day, which makes it even more confusing.

1. Articles saying that Lee Joon has been offered the antagonist role.
2. Articles saying that Lee Joon has been offered a different role.
3. Other articles saying that Yoo Ah-in was offered the antagonist role.
4. Other articles saying that Yoo Ah-in was offered a different role.

I literally wasted 2 hours of my friend's time for this????   :twitch:

The only thing all the articles agree on is that both of them are "still positively reviewing" the script  :unimpressed:

The film is rumored to start shooting in mid-March so I'm praying so hard right now that both of them accept their roles.
And that the confirmation is released soon because waiting till Feb/Mar would be torture.
*Not going to happen, but within this month would be amazing*

For some reason, KA+ don't think their vying for the same role.

Honestly, I could care less who plays what role just let them both be in the movie.

The thought of my two bias in the same movie.
tumblr_ms512sEHQ21szztslo2_250.gif

edit.

Wikipedia:
Hwang Jung-Min - detective
Yoo Ah-In - man from wealthy family

Filming begins February, 2014.

Daum
Hwang Jung-Min - detective
Lee Joon - man from wealthy family

Filming begins February, 2014.

I give up lol

On Joon's article it says his role is a chaebol 2nd generation while on Yoo Ah In's it says chaebol 3rd generation...

Would it be possible that they are both antagonists but different roles?

I don't mean to be cynical. But somehow with jtc delaying their comeback somehow gives a vibe that they don't confident with having to face competition. If they really waiting for a month where no top singer/groups are promoting it certainly there won't be one. Almost every month big groups/singers are having comeback. It just my thoughts

What i mean is not the boys but j tune camp. I knew The boys is not afraid of competition

I don't think jtc is afraid of competition, but even if they are, it's pretty well-known now that their marketing team is not the type that would be normal smart enough to check other artists' comeback schedule. They just like doing their own thing and it's something that an A+ has to live with, so be patient, girl. They will comeback soon.

True, number of registered members is not a thing anymore. It does still say that fans don't bother even if it's the official cafe and that's still a sad thing. Older groups are still up there maintaining their numbers because their fans just simply care.

Either people are not caring anymore -either by logging in or registering again or just lazy. Always been an A+ thing, though. Pfft

----

I like the sound of their Japanese comeback song. Wish the MV won't be all about them posing but it seems like it.

btw JTC, where's my A+ kit?

It'd be lucky if we get it before our membership ends -_-

MBLAQ should be the very first group who make the naked concept next.

Let them be the trend and they get money and fame.

We are all satisfied. Happily ever after.

They should do a nude photoshoot/photobook like what Shinhwa did since we've all seen Joon's butt anyway :hurr:

I didn't iike it on the first listen, too.

Haven't listened to it again so can't tell yet if I do like it.

It kind of worries me that they switched to a smaller company.

I mean, they're in the same company as Secret and they're not doing well there.

Of course, they would be given priority as compared to when they were with Sony Music Japan but hopefully their access to the songwriters, producers, promotions etc would not be affected. Take It Back, though... should be their last of that kind.

Yeah, at least Still In Love is good.

Not blown away but it still nice.

I'm glad they're promoting Still In Love and Take It Back is a b-side track bcuz TIB sounds like a male version of some Japanese girl group song from the 90s

Even after listening the not-so-LQ audio I still don't like it :(

The lucky fans that get picked will get to listen to their new songs. They will then give input on what song should be the title track. This is how 'Stay' was chosen as the title track for their full album the same with Sexy Beat mini.

So comeback status as of now:

photo jacket done

songs are all done

title track hasn't been picked yet until later on today hope they choose wisely.

mv hasn't been shot

So comeback might be 2 or 3 months from now.

Did you seriously mean 2 or 3 months? lol

Re: Track monitoring

JTC is the master of bad timing so what's new?

This must be the only available day for the big bosses so why care about MBLAQ and the fans schedules, right?

:donthinkso:

My guess is because it's a pretty good timing when quite a few big names like SNSD, 2NE1 and CNBlue have released their songs JTC wants the comeblaq to happen before next wave of big names' comeback kicks in?

I saw this too.

It's supposedly a SM C&C produced show with a big brother concept with 10 celebrities living together in a house.

Airing after K-pop Star 3 on SBS.  I saw that Kim Su-ro & Shin Dong-yup are rumored to be starring it too.

I hope it's truth because those are big names in variety and it would be a awesome opportunity for Mir.

tumblr_n19nazIgQv1qa4od3o1_500.gif

Also the bromance  :ilove:  :ilove:

So it's the same show that is rumored 1 SHINee member is confirmed to be on it and people are guessing SM may throw in some EXO members as well \o/

And let's revisit the perfectness of Cry before we get Cry 2.0

Two X got hate but it wasn't as much as what Pro C is getting. Most of the hate that they got was that they were girls but most of it came from I-fans than anywhere else. Pro C is a lot bigger. But how it happened no one knows. From positive comments to it becoming negative. They are even adding curse words to their name. It's like they can't understand that a company can't be successful with only one group under them and that they need to invest in others to grow but it's like they don't want that. It seems like they just want JTC to be only about MBLAQ. What do they want for JTC to go under when MBLAQ doesn't want to continue anymore. I find it funny how some I-fans are siding with KA+ and that we all should because they've never lied to us. That's a load of BS. They've lied 2 times already from what I can remember. 1st was when Seungho got injured during Run promo. They said nothing happened although ppl knew something did it's just they didn't know what only for it to appear on Mnet wide and some articles written about it. The 2nd was Joonie's post their lie was his account got hacked and that it wasn't him but it turned out it was confirmed by JTC that it was him. Hopefully it'll go away.

Oh please, they should not call themselves A+ if that's what they believe.

KA+ are forever hiding info from us IA+ let alone lying to us when info is leaked thinking they're "protecting" the boys and JTC.

As much as I want JTC to focus only on MBLAQ, JTC needs to find another source of income to keep the business going.

But whether Pro C will succeed and become JTC's new cash cow with their existing (or non-existing) marketing skill is another story.

The thing is mostly postive comments were giving about Pro C but as the day went on it turned to pure negativity all because of a fanaccount. Supposedly an audio clip was recorded about what went on but it's not posted anywhere. Ppl are saying to prove what they're saying but they aren't. Don't know if a troll attacked Pro C's fancafe but a Chinese phrase is posted everywhere. What does this even mean 丕刀åœå·±åœäººl凹åœå·±åœå£åœ

That phrase is just some random characters. Looks more like gibberish to me.

From what I see the incident could've been avoided if JTC held the monitoring somewhere other than the practice room like before and it's the result of poor management... what's new...

I sent the PMs, which explains it.

Thank you.

I just read somewhere else that Pro C was the one who collected cellphones from the A+ before the monitoring started. How could they and other staff not notice that the cellphone was recording? But JTC's apology on daum makes it look like they indirectly admitted someone did say those things... So much drama

I would be confused as f if I lived in Europe/Latin America because although we have a bunch of promoters/production companies and the boys themselves talking about the tour JTC hasn't officially released a word about it. No confirmed countires, no confirmed dates. How can A+ in those countries be sure that these concerts are legit?
