You were close tho cuz at first he was my bias but Mir overtook him soon after I got into them.

Well after all these years actually a lot of A+ have abandoned MBLAQ for many other groups, not just EXO.

But I don't get too upset about it cuz I'd rather spend more time supporting our boys than thinking about these bandwagon "fans."

"Quality over quantity." It doesn't only apply to the music MBLAQ makes but also to the fans they have

Just look at EXO as an example. I'd be embarrassed to be at the same fandom as some exotics if I liked EXO. Those cray cray saseangs srsly turn me off.

I talked to an A+ in Brazil and she said the company that signed a contract with jtc for the tour asked the Brazilian A+ for show of interest in the concert before they go ahead with it. Unfortunately she said Brazilian are lazy and only wait for things to happen, so if they can't come up with something MBLAQ in Brazil might not happen.

I was so excited about MBLAQ going back to Brazil since I saw all those Youtube videos from 2011. 

What are the promoters looking for exactly ? I would be happy to help if they need anything.

 

I told that Brazilian A+, the one who had a discord with miss d if anyone here remembers, to do something that takes time and effort like a big scale flashmob. She said she even organized an a+ meeting with MBLAQ's album as gift before but nobody joined. so she'll try the flashmob for 1 last time. I also advised her to give up the idea of MBLAQ in Brazil temporarily if it doesn't work out this time since even suju only managed to get 4000 people in their concert in Brazil.

 

That company is asking 3 fans from each country (Brazil/Peru/Chile) to help promote the event & what not. In return they'll get backstage passes to meet the boys + other goodies. 

But the problem w. Chile is that the company jtc signed with is charging Chilean companies "too much" & unless they lower the cost a concert in Chile wont happen. 

 

 

I saw people talking about this on twitter. I thought it was because the tickets were too expensive, but I guess the problem is with CJ E&M charging the Chilean promoters too much to have them perform. Since CJ E&M did their Asian tour and add to extra dates ..... they are probably aware of their popularity outside of Korean and want to capitalize on it. *I hope it works out for the Chilean fans*

 

Hmm.. I wonder if fans are just waiting for their favorites to come instead of just going to see anybody that comes like what's happening in Asian countries now. 

I remember Big Bang had to cancel their concert in Brazil last year b/c they couldn't fill the seats. And then there was TVXQ having to cancel their concert in Peru a month ago.

 

In non-Asian countries where kpop idols rarely go the ticket price has to be reasonable enough for fans to afford it and to attract non-fans/kpop fans in general to buy it, so I'm not surprised that even top groups like Big Bang couldn't fill the seats. I hope CJ E&M realizes that it's a win-win situation if they are willing to lower the cost a bit.

If the prices aren't that expensive shouldn't more than 4000 people attend ? Or is that there isn't a lot of kpop fans in Brazil ?

 

The Brazilian A+ said Brazilian are lazy, which I have no idea if it's true or not.

 

I don't know how much they sold for the suju concert tickets, but seeing that only 4000 people went they might not be cheap.

 

According to Chilean A+, jtc isnt aware of the issue but are trying to let them know through social medias..

Hopefully, jtc can do something about it.

 

Then I hope jtc can take less money if they have a say in it. It's more important to get MBLAQ's name out there than make the normal amout of profit.

I just hope international A+ get the chance to see MBLAQ live  ^^  is one of those unique opportunities in life that you shouldn't waste

One thing that helps me tolerate MBLAQ staying as a 2nd-tier group is that jtc treats them well and our boys are more well-off financially than a lot of more popular groups. I bet a lot of kpop idols are jealous of our boys lol
