FXXK IT's achievements in 4 weeks

Because I'm sad now (it was BigBang's final final concert today) I wanted something to cheer me up a bit, so I thought it would be nice to compile all of FXXK IT's achievements for the first month here in a separate thread just for an easy access, and also because OH was down when the song first dropped so most of the slayage was on twitter and it could be lost

FXXK IT was released digitally on 13.12 (along with Last Dance and Girlfriend). They are the last 3 songs in the full MADE album, the other 8 songs were all released in 2015 over the span of 4 months.

 

 

1. hitting Melon's roof with the 3 songs together

 

Right upon release, FXXK IT (together with Last Dance and Girlfriend) debuted 1,2,3 on music charts respectively.

 

The 3 songs hit the roof together and walked on it. The only artists (at the top of my head) who were able to achieve that before were Busker Busker and IU.

 

 

 

2. Domination during peak hours

 

All 3 songs kept dominating melon during peak hours. Look at how close the percentages are.

 

 

 

3. Blowing Melon's roof for the first time in Melon's history

 

For the first time in Melon's history, 1st through 3rd rank “blew the roof†which means 99% of Melon users were listening to the songs at that time.

 

 

 

4. Roof hits

 

FXXK IT has a total of 25 roof hits. Last Dance managed to achieve 8 and Girlfriend achieved 2. Which brings the total of BigBang's roofhits to 315, the highest ever for any Kpop group.

 

 

 

5. Number of Unique Listeners

 

FXXK IT has the highest number of unique listeners in the first hour.

 

 

It also has the highest number of unique listeners with 1.210.585 in the first 24hrs. It's the highest number for a group song in 2016. Last Dance comes 3rd and Girlfriend comes 8th (which is amazing for a non promoted, B-side song).

 

 

 

Overall, FXXK IT takes the 3rd place in the number of 24hr unique listeners right after Park Hyoshin and Lim Chang Jung.

 

 

 

 

6. Achieving Perfect-All-Kill

 

In less than 2 days, FXXK IT managed to achieve its first PAK. And then went on to achieve a total of 35 hourly PAKs. It's important to note that FXXK IT now has the highest number of PAKs for any BigBang song. Blue used to hold the record with 14 PAKs back in 2012. BigBang still remains the only Kpop boy group to ever achieve a PAK.

7. Still in the top 10

 

More than a month after release now and FXXK IT remains in the top 10 despite the tough competition from Goblin OST and IC songs.

 

 

8. First 4 weeks dls/streams

 

When it comes to dl/streams, FXXK IT is doing exceptionally well too:
- FXXK IT has the most downloads in the first 4 weeks for a song released in 2016 with 685,576
- FXXK IT has 27,405,863 for streaming.

FXXK IT's 1st 4 weeks dls surpasses all of MADE's songs (except Loser's which was 692,732) and surpasses all of MADE's streams (including BANG BANG BANG which was 24,524,982).

 

 

9. Music Shows wins

 

FXXK IT has 8 wins in music shows so far (Triple crown Inkigayo, Triple crown in M!Countdown and 2 wins in Music Bank).

 

10. Instiz chart

 

FXXK IT topped instiz chart for 3 weeks in a row (surpassing every MADE song).

 

11. Gaon's triple crown

 

FXXK IT took Gaon's Triple Crown (meaning it was No.1 on Gaon’s digital chart, online download chart and online streaming chart ).

 

 

12. Apple Music, iTunes and the New York Times' pick

 

FXXK IT was included in Apple Music's 'Best of the Week' playlist (50 best songs from all over the world):

 

 

It was also included in iTunes′ Best of the Week chart (Apple Music′s Best of the Week chart is published weekly and features top tracks released around the world. Big Bang represented Korean artists by being featured on the list alongside top musicians Chris Brown, Gallant, Chainsmokers and more).

And it was also included in 'The New York Times' weekly playlist.

 

 

13. MADE on iTunes and Billboard heatseekers

 

This thread is mainly about FXXK IT, but it's good to know that MADE the full album:

- topped the iTunes album charts of 19 countries (Brunei, Cambodia, Costa Rica, Finland, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macao, Malaysia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Norway, Paraguay, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, and Vietnam). It also peaked in 2nd in the iTunes’s album chart in the United States and 5th in the iTunes's album chart in Canada.

- debuted No. 172 on the Billboard 200 with 6,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending making it BigBang's second entry to the BB200 after Alive. It's impressive when you note the album still charted after only 3 days of sales, no physical sales and only 3 new songs out of 11.
- ranked on six Billboard charts (No. 1 on the nationwide Heatseekers Albums chart and on the regional charts of the same name in the Middle Atlantic, Northeast, Pacific and West North Central regions of the United States).
