I mean you kinda gotta figure with their sponsors and quality clothes every character wore.

I could a mulberry bag, a Bottega bag ,an Yves Saint Laurent bag and a porenza just for eun tak's character. Not counting her clothes or any other character that's like 10, 12 in just accessories

it's not pertaining to the sponsored clothes the actors/actresses were wearing on the show tho... it's about the obvious PPL of the different products the characters were using, drinking, and eating like the iloom towels, subway food, the car, fridge, beer, chicken, etc.

A few of the clothing brands ACTUALLY sponsored the show tho

Yeah but the labels of the designer brands you were mentioning weren't blatantly shown during the show = not really PPL

Their stylists could've just provided some of these designer clothes for them to wear since ~fashion~ or the brand paid the stylist and/or actor/actress, not the show, to wear it so that they could get more sales and expand their brand in KR (which is what sponsored clothing is), but the show itself isn't openly advertising those designer brands unlike those that I've mentioned, which are Subway, Maserati, iloom, BBQ chicken, Body Shop, etc. Plus, these sponsored designer clothes that the casts wore aren't even mentioned in the closing segment of each eps where they flash the companies that helped them and/or brands that were shown during the eps (who paid for a slot of their product's 15 seconds of fame). Anyway, I doubt these designer brands actually paid the show's production crew to help them out/unnecessarily PPL their clothes... maybe just the actors/actresses to wear and subtlely advertise their stuff lol

+1

Plus most of these clothes could actually be lent by the companies themselves, so no expenditure there. Same thing with most photoshoots

You are right, but I'm talking about the numerous Tag Heuer and Paul's boutique placements. Those were among the sponsors in the end credit. Were Canada tourism and air Canada always sponsors? Honestly I loved goblin but it made me feel bad for the people involved drinking solo. Same channel, way different budgets.

So op goblin made money out of those ppls?Who gets the money? TVN?

I'm not 100% sure but yeah the production company gets the PPL fee, which in this case is probably tVN lol... or maybe there's adifferent production company involved as well? hahaha!

Ahhh cuz you were talking about designer brands in your first comment that's why I assumed you were talking about them again. Hahaha! And yeah I think the sponsored clothes/accessories that were mentioned in the end credit were Tag Heuer, Paul's Boutique, and Elite Uniforms. Yeah I think Air Canada and Canada Tourism were sponsors as well based on the obvious advertisement of the company during like two eps or something lol. The different budget is probably because bigger names are attached to the production of Goblin... from the cast to the writer and the director, that's why tVN most probably allocated way more money for them and more companies sponsored them compared to Drinking Solo. I guess that production money invested in the drama wasnt wasted since they still got it back through the advertisements/PPL in the show lmao
