Koreans and some international kpop fans didn't want to undertand the situation when we explained what happened and instead of being open minded, they hated on Bom labeling her as a drug addict, a criminal and not as a human being who needed medication (medication that was legally prescribed by a doctor) to get better. I don't know if this post would affect knetz opinions, the only thing I want for Bom is peace and happiness. She is an aweasome woman who deserves all the love. I honestly thought the whole issue was ridiculous when I heard of the news. IT WAS MEDICATION. And it was proven early that she wasnt abusing it or giving it to other ppl. But for some reason it still blew up. It sucks tho. Her image was tarnished because ppl blew it out of proportion and spread lies. Its frustrating and I feel bad for Bom. It was so unfair to her. If it doesn't match up with the narrative in their head they'll ignore it. I will forever be pissed off that it ended this messy. BUT in Korea there are only 3 years of highschool and being a 2nd year in Korea is like being a 3rd year junior in America. They are grade 1 to 6 as elementary, grades 7 to 9 as middle school and 10 to 12 as highschool. Also Bom is born in March which is in the middle of the school year in the USA but the beginning in Korea, so she was placed based on same aged US students rather than her grade in Korea.
