I don't know how people go about measuring vocalists, but Onew has the best tone imo. I like his voice the most. I don't really care for adlibs or belting.

Definitely Kyuhyun, its completely effortless for him. But I personally like how Jonghyun expresses himself the best out of all of them.

I think it's kyuhyun for me, never a fan of suju but he makes listening to their songs worth it

it's mostly the vocal tone , idk much about vocal technique

I feel like people are gonna vote more on singing voice rather than actual vocal skills, but Kyuhyun is definitely #1 in SM, and perhaps even beyond SM (I'm only referring to Korean POP here)

I can't judge the "best" but my favorite is a tie between Chen and Jonghyun.

and I'm assuming this is just for idols but Kangta as well.

All my favorite male voices left SM (Hwanhee, Junsu). So for now, I'm going to go with Kyuhyun because I prefer his voice over the other ones on the list, but I do think Changmin is the better performer with more stage presence.

I was really surprised when I first heard his voice singing A Whole New World with Charice, I wasn't a Kpop fan at that time, I thought Kpop is only about asian guys dancing.with no actual singing skill, he proved me so wrong.

Eeeeks. Changmin has had so many great lives and he has improved so much over the years but you chose this clip that is so old and not the least bit impressive at all. I don't follow most of them except Changmin but I have watched some great lives of theirs and all the videos you posted are not. Haha. But well....

 

I like Jonghyun's way of expression when singing and he has a really versatile and powerful voice. Only sometimes he gets high and loses some control. Kyuhyun has a smooth voice but a bit too techinical and safe for me. Changmin, when in good form is fantastic. He blows people off with his singing. Can't choose.

 

oh and for voice quality, I really like Yesung's.
