My questions about Goblin's ending

Hi everybody! I've just seen the Goblin's ending and I thought that the last episode would not leave things unresolved.. but it seems it has and I keep wondering about TWO things:

1- What exactly did Kim Shin become??? He seems to be still a goblin.. but why?!?! His sword has been extracted and he paid for his sins..ok, I know he didn't ascend to a better world and he came back to keep his promise with his wife, but WHAT EXACTLY IS HE NOW?

2- What will happen after his bride dies in her 4th life?!?! Will he keep living alone forever and ever?! Can't she choose to stay with him as a ghost?

THERE MUST BE something I missed... if anybody has the answers or any idea about it please feel free to share it with me.

1. He's still a Goblin. He still has his powers such as walking through doors and such. He's the exact same thing as he was before except without that damn sword.

2. This was left unanswered but I'm pretty sure once Eun Tak dies in her 4th life, he'll walk through the door to heaven with her now that he doesn't have a sword.

1). Still a goblin and will remain one forever be immortal. Honestly I don't even see the point in the damn sword anymore then? Or him paying for his sins which were t even as bad compared to the king who actually got to finish paying for his sins and gets a happy ending but the goblin who didn't even do anything wrong LOST his love and waited 30 years for her to appear again and he has to go through this 3 more times and then all her lives will be up and hell be alone forever. I don't think I've ever seen such a pitiful male lead in any drama before wtf

This exactly!

I keep thinking did I miss out on something? The whole time it bothered me to think how is goblin supposed to die? So at the end he wasn't forgiven because isn't immortality meant to be a punishment? Then why is he still being punished after everything he's gone through? Even overall I enjoyed the drama a lot, the ending just.... urghhhh!!

He choose himself to remain as a Goblin, aka immortal and not rest in peace when God gave him the choices so he could return to Eun Tak,God let him be one as he left that one door opened and his desperate desire to go back to her made it possible,u could say those 9 long years in that limbo was his own test...

More likely he will ask the Deity to let him rest in peace along her as he is of his free own will a Goblin and not by punishment anymore

This!

When Euntak's 4th life is over, Goblin will most likely go with her like how Yeo went with Sunny. He's no longer punished, he shouldn't have any problem going up to afterlife.

It was a perfect ending...

The drama was about a goblin who was great and lonely, it would not make sense if KS ceases to be a goblin. And ever since the beginning they have been referencing if love or sadness would last forever and ET answered that a sad love does and that was the ending, it was a sad love between a mortal and an immortal.

It's also kind of open ended since we also saw the end of the life of a Grim Reaper who is also an immortal. They explained the reason why they became a grim reaper and its purpose. Along the line the goblin also has a purpose for its existence and why he continues to be an immortal. KS was given an out when he turned to dust but was able to come back and in my opinion that has always been the plan. There's only one goblin bride and she was still alive so the gobln should claim his bride. It was also her first life of the four and if she will be reincarnated again then there should always be the goblin. I think until her fourth life finishes she will die together with the goblin like GR and Sunny.

He is a goblin with no weakness. And considering what a prick the god in the goblin universe was, I'd say he is probably gonna just roam the earth till the end of times

So basically The Goblin become like that Red God ? the different is the Red God helping someone future but goblin helping someone's in current time ?? and He will die after the last 4th life of Eun Tak ?? thats his gift from God right ?

I'm guessing that's gonna be the case, him being like the red god. Except he is a goblin and chooses to help people. He is not expected to. And also this has been bothering me. Eun Tak had more than enough time to park and get out. Why the fuck did she stay in the car. I get that she was selfless and all, but did she not even bother to think about Kim Shin or to tell him she loved him?
