Seriously, why is it so hard for some people to just ignore groups/artists that they don't like?

I honestly don't get it. I mean, you say that you don't like the group at all, yet you stalk what award shows they're going to, check where their songs rank on Melon, watch live performances of them WILLINGLY on YouTube, figure out the members' names and what their role is in the group, and discuss the artist quite a bit.

Whatever happened to just following your faves? Why do some feel the need to express their dislike of others so much? It really bugs me, tbh. Many of these idols haven't done anything wrong, haven't committed any crimes, so why do you treat them as if they're evil? You're not supposed to always like everyone you meet/discover, why is it such a hassle for some people to just ignore the idol/s and move on?

Anyways,

    Discuss, please~~~

Lots of people(Most tbh) troll/hate because it's fun. It's that simple. They like seeing people overreact when they see rude comments about their favs. It stops being fun when people ignore them or don't give a big enough reaction.

The other group of people are looking for people to share their hate. They want company. It's a sad, probably lonely hobby...but a hobby nonetheless. (or maybe it's just fun Idk, maybe I'll try it for a while)

Its for different reasons like for one :

  1. Some find looking at video's and keeping up with a group they dont like just because the outcome of seeing set fans get angry and triggered is well worth the sacrifice of watching a couple minutes of video a day,or speeding listening an artist track/album.
  2.  Some do it just cause they REALLY hate the fans of set group, for all intents they actually may like the group but the annoyance some fans brings just make them lash out and say some really ridiculous things. just to spite them
  3. For some reason the group that's a thousand miles away that has no idea that they exist is enough just to not like them. Ive seen a lot of users who really dont have a reason to not like the group, they just....dont. so they'll make that evidently clear. but hide behind half ass excuses for no reason.
  4. Dont see it often but there are users who hate the company, therefore dont like the group/s *shrug*

True asf? I've seen a number of people on onehallyu who seem to enjoy hating on those they dislike more than supporting those they like.

Like seriously, people should just stop because all it does is make others hate their fandom.
