Is it hard for you to accept your own religion?

I mean yeah. I was raised to be Christian (though our mom has told me doesn't actually care what I become, she just encourages prayer because she thinks everyone needs it) when I actually don't care for religion whatsoever. When I was a bit younger I thought maybe I needed to pour myself into it more and pay more attention but i was doing some reflecting last year and discovered it's okay to not have a religion. So that's where it is now.

at a certain age , everyone question everything , the existence of a god , the reality of this world , why are we even born etc

and it is totally normal , being born with a religion does not mean that you should continue being religious or something like that , if you don't actually believe in the religion then .. you just don't believe in it , you have all the time in the world to search for what you believe in , just remember no one is allowed to tell you what you SHOULD o MUST believe in and good luck sweetheart

It is okay. Even saints have talked about having doubts eg. 'dark night of the soul'.

Also, maybe you are inclined to atheism or agnosticism? Or if you still feel a pull towards god, you can look into other religious texts and see if you find one more suitable to you?

After all, it doesn't matter what religion you were born into - because it is just an accident of birth and you had no conscious choice. In a faith or without, if you're a good person that is all that is required.

Yeah I've been struggling with it for a few years now. It got to the point where i just ignored it and didn't do anything religion related for years. But I've decide to just ignore everything I've been taught about it/was drilled in to my head when i was a kid and learn about it for myself.

Not really. I was born as a Christian and went to Christian primary and secondary schools. I started to read the Holy Bible since I was kid, it felt to me like I was reading a storybook initially but as I grow up I found myself crave for even more understanding about the teachings. Bible verses are my favourites. Oh and I'm still a Christian until now.

yeah, growing up catholicism was really forced on me that i sort of hated it, especially going to catholic boarding school even. i sort of just started denying it because, without being too personal, the thing about respecting parents all the way, i can't do that because mine are abusive (sorry for tmi). bc of that i was agnostic for a while, but i've circled my way back to faith and if that 1 thing i deny sends me to hell, so be it. but in the meantime, overall i like to have faith.
