toshi 1,466
Hey guys, So basically my question for you all is how do I get my hair back to good health and looking shiny again? I've been bleaching my hair once every couple months since last summer and now its pretty blonde but also damaged. I've decided to go back to my natural colour which is almost black because the roots come through far too fast. This has left my hair a bit unhealthy, its not dead, just a bit dry and its lost all its shine. My hair has always been on the dry side anyway since I have afro texture hair which I straighten to make look smooth. I usually style with oil to make it look shiny when I'm going out, but I'm wondering what else I can do once I dye my hair back to black to make it look shiny and healthy. Kim hyojung is love 7,319
I think you should cut it and go natural for a bit let it air dry instead of blow drying it.deep condition it also
Chouquette 308
There's nothing you can do except to cut it and to stop straightening your hair too... At least until you got rid of all your damaged hair.

Grape Soda 12,004
cut it and no heat styling ^^^^ tbh But if you don't wanna do that. Do a protein treatment and deep condition it well especially if you have Afro texture. Try using cleansing conditioners instead of shampoo(not 2n1, cleansing conditioner). Also when u deep condition you wanna try and leave it in for 30 minutes.
