Was Kim Min Jae's name in Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim Park Eun Tak all this time?

I'm sure everyone knows by now that Kim Min Jae hit Daebak by being part of the principal cast in BOTH Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim (as Nurse Park) and Goblin (as the young version of King/Grim Reaper)

 

I was watching Kim Min Jae in Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim as Nurse Park way even before I began Goblin. I noticed he has always been addressed as Nurse Park but it seems after his impact as King Wang Yeo in Goblin, Nurse Park suddenly had a name (and more screentime!) in Romantic Doctor.

 

Am I the only one noticing this (must be my imagination?)

 

Also, has his character in Doctor Kim always been named Eun Tak or they only named him that after his popularity exploded in Goblin?

It's hilarious because I remember he was simply called as Nurse Park until like ep 9  and he barely had any relevant screentime but the episodes post his Goblin appearance, it's as if he suddenly became part of the main ensemble and he's been named Eun Tak!

They probably wanted to give him more screen time cuz he gained popularity in goblin. i wouldnt be surprised. he left such an impact with his 5 minute screentime per episode.

I think they mentioned in the beggining? I'm not sure but I think so... btw, I was a bit doutful of him since he was mediocre at second time twenty years old but he did good in this drama and in goblin.

He certainly did a career turning decision by starring in two biggest Korean drama hits airing at the same time.
