Finally...

 

The time has arrived, the moment you've all been waiting nearly a week for.

 

The ultimate showdown and deciding factor between two forces of ultimate power, grace and aegyo.

 

Tonight at the stroke of midnight, The OneHallyu Ideal World Cup will finally reach it's penultimate climax.

 

But first we have to talk about the journey of the tow finalists to get here so far.

 

 

Aged 28 and responsible for the charm and variety skills of 2NE1, Sandara Park has come a long way as the dark horse of this tournament...

 

Her first victory was against Euaerin from Nine Muses where she dominated the bout with a victory of 89 votes to a measly 21.

 

She then went up against a formidably sexy opponent (and fellow mature idol aged 26) in the form of Gain, winning 77-63.

 

But her hardest opponent yet had a rhyming name and even a similar gimmick. Heck she's younger too, quite the threat no? But overcoming Hara 62/48, got her to the finals to face off against...

 

Bae Suzy.

 

Hands down she was one of the two favourites to win this thing... and she has not yet failed to deliver on that as well.

 

She doesn't parade around with the title of Nation's First Love/Sweetheart/Whatever-it-actually-is, solely for marketing purposes, she definitely had some clout during this competition, beating out the likes of Naeun from A Pink (who is no slouch popularity wise either) 109/38.

 

Suzy really didn't have it easy in this contest because after having to face off against Naeun, she found herself against another formidable opponent in the form of Hyuna, who's popularity reaches further than Suzy's, due to the fact that she already has some impact (although minor) in the mainstream American media through Gangnam Style and her single released at around the same time, "Ice Cream".  Suzy prevails nonetheless with a whopping 143/93!

 

Suzy's toughest opponent yet, however, would be Yoona... Who (like Suzy) is considered everyone's ideal type! Both these girls have had parallel careers in this department and have enjoyed immense popularity because of it, this bout was huge and it is still going on right now as we speak! It was close but Suzy won 137/121. Yoona almost had her for a while too!

 

But now the time has come to decide... Who will win out of--

 

Sandara "Dara" Park!

(Final notes: The votes close at Midnight (GMT) and then I will announce the winner, also I'm not sure whether or not I should do another one with different idols or something, so if you think I should post some ideas or something... Okay?)
