For those who are already playing it, will there be ways to grind and level up your characters or even get more money before proceeding to further chapters? I researched a bit and they said in Hoshido you can, while in Nohr's it's more old style where you can only keep going. Is this true? If it is, then all the more am I going with Hoshido first.

Yeah you cannot grind in Nohr.I dont mind it since my first FE was PoR and is still  my fav so im used to not grinding, but it does requires a lot more planning on chapters and for future

 

you need to always plan how to divide the EXP

 

BTW!!!! a word of advice!!!!! I'll put it in a spoiler just in case....

 

If Kaze doesn't get a A or S support with another character he is going to die in Chapter 15.. you will never see him again... and you will miss his daughter forever too

 

 

 

Actually he needs to have an A relationship with the avatar, even if he is married he can die, if he doesnt ahve an A relationship with your avatar

Huh? Is that Birthright only? I can't access my save file right now, but I'm pretty sure that my avatar and Kaze didn't have A rating

 

Think this is indeed Birthright only. Kaze only has C with my avatar. However, he got S with Selena, and I'm not sure when they got it.

 

 

 

Yeah i believe kaze only dies in birthright.Idk about revelations

 

but in Nohr you dont need it i believe but yeah is A with the avatar since the plot of him dying involves the avatar

Just wondering i know they took out the petting thing (pshhhhhhh...... ) so how different is it? Like do we just call them to the room and intimacy automatically increase? Also did they tone down the dialogues bc some of the intimacy scene in JPN is kinda..

 

Also I'm kinda mad gamestop tracking told me i would get it today but ups is like nope tomorrow should've just paid for that extra fast shipping

yeah petting is gone instead you go to your room call one of yor allies choose them and they deliver a line but without the petting you still get to see the 2d models and hear their voices

 

the lines seem very tamed and normal, granted i havent listened to a lot of different characters but even zero who could be kinda lewd at times is pretty tamed

Idc much for that since some of the models body looks odd to me but i don't see the point. Like most people that play this are likely teens and adults so it's not like some bikini are going to shock anyone....tho i guess Camilla's impact

Im guessing they were mainly removed because of the kid characters since it could be creepy for them and all characters could put on the bikinis. I feel it was more like a xenoblade situation but unlike in xenoblade in which they altered the bikinis for the little girl while left them intact for the older girls. Here they just removed them all lol

 

 

Is Revalations going to be like Birthright or Conquest in terms of grinding? Or is it going to be a bit of both? Honestly, I can't wait for it. So many S rank combinations.

Revelations is harder than birthright but easier than conquest.

 

I believe you can also grind on revelations but i havent played it yet since im saving it for my last playthrough

What's grinding? I see people mentioning it all the time but I have no idea what it means.

is like taking task over and over so that you level up. Like in Hoshido there are this scout mission that have nothing to do with the story but that yo can use to level up your characters and grinding is done when you play those mission over and over to have your characters be of a really high level or a higher level than what just playing the main story line would offer

Yeah I've also just beat Birthright and am on chapter 10 for Conquest now. JFC this game is ridiculous. I more or less breezed through Birthright.

Except that chapter where Camilla keeps damaging multiple units at a time for 10 HP EACH TURN.

And I'm looking online now for a strategy and it seems this chapter was hard for a lot of people. I don't really consider myself a great FE player, just one who plays all of them, but it's still somewhat comforting to know it's not just me.

That chapters was kinda hard.My recommendation is just divide what i did i s i had 2 units on the left, 2 on the right and everyone else upfront and have them luring the enemies

 

you dont want to have a lot of enemies alive by the time all the reinforcements start appearing so the best you can do is start luring all the ones at the beginnin and kill oboro and hinata early

 

Im on chapter 23 of conquest, just a little more and i will finish and start birthright

 

I really have enjoyed conquest, it brings back PoR memories

Finally got my game and I'm about halfway through Conquest. LOVING IT! The variety of maps and mission objectives make Awakening seem like trash in comparison.

I was wondering, how do I visit other castles? And how can other people visit my castles? Do I need to add them as friends first? I don't want to fight, I just want visits.

no if you are in your castle you can see in the bottom of your screen an icon thats like a card click it

 

that its your presentation card in it there is a part that says castle address or some stuff like that, you can give people that so that they can visit your castle, also updating your castle can help as when people go to recently updated castles your castle might pop up for them

So i just finished conquest and i must i really enjoyed it from beginning to end, it was exciting and it never got repetitive.

 

My top 5 female charries from conquest

1.Charlotte-originally camilla was my fav but charlotte character is so good and it develops in all supports plus she is a beast

If you think Kaze is good just wait until you see Kagero in Birthright. I expected her to be weaker than Kaze and Saizo since she's the female ninja but she's a monster. She's stronger than both of them.

I just started birthright, and its fun though the maps are kina tedious to grind since when you grind all the dragon veins are used

You miss a kid no matter what unless you marry a 2nd gen character. But I wouldn't worry. The kids are far less useful than they were in Awakening. Only one I took to endgame in Birthright was Takumi's kid.

 

You'll have to play Revelations to learn more about Azura. It's very obviously meant to be the 'true' ending once you get a little bit into it. Conquest explores her backstory less than Birthright does.

actually you can marry an avatar sexual character aka the ones that only have the avatar as a support and they are all first gen

from conquest is flora  from birthright is reina and scarlet

 

But yeah if you are a guy avatar then yeah if you want all kids you are forced to marry a corrin sexual female or a second gen girl

Yeah but I think most people don't marry them. And three require you to do castle upgrades which some people might just ignore.

scarlett and reina join your party without castle upgrades but yeah flora needs upgrade. Oddly flora is really popular in japan despite being an avatar sexual

Hi guys!  I started playing Fire Emblem Awakening and I was wondering if you could give me some tips if you don't mind.  Idk what to do with Frederick.  He's kinda lacking and I wanted to know what you guys did with him or if you even used him.  He's kinda annoying me.  

 

Also, is Fates good so far.  I'm getting that one next.

I usually only used frederick when i have him paired up with someone as back up, tbh i barely used him since i didnt care for him

 

but in which is he lacking, you could reclass him depending on what he lacks

Xander should only marry Charlotte

 

that for me is canon

 

their support is the best tbh

 

Charlotte and Kaze have the best supports

 

Charlotte so far every support i checked of her is so good, kaze has some really awesome ones as well

Frederick is good for the earlier chapters, especially if you're playing Hard or Lunatic. Other than that, if you don't like him you can easily bench him. As most of the other units you'll get later on will far outclass him and iirc, his stat growth is not that great..correct me if I'm wrong.

 

Also, he's only basically good for getting a good Cynthia.

 

yeah his stat growth isnt that great and he usually doesnt gain as much experience so early because of how ahead he is level wise

 

so i usually just bench him to give exp to my other units, thats why having him as a backup is the best, just so that he lands the kill and your lower level unit gets the EXP
