He's such a good unit to use. He gets so powerful and so useful, trust me he's worth it. And he's so beautiful   I love his daughter just as much

I'm currently working on levelling up my children units, and I desperately need more girls. I only have two girls rn.  The rest are all guys. Here's hoping Subaki and Hinoka have a girl... really should have checked the Wiki first.

I hope you have Oboro on your team, she's the best non royal female unit in Hoshido imo. She's also my fave character from the game and yes Subaki has a daughter and she's the one who looks exactly like Cordelia

Yas.  I loved Cordelia. And yes I hitched her up with Hinata. I have to say, Kana, Midori, Sophie and Kiragi are the cutest so far. I like Dwyer too since he's pretty quirky lol.

Ehh I don't really use the kids much at all except for Kana and whatever other child I get with who I marry. And the same in Awakening, I only used Lucina and Morgan and never even touched the other child units lmao. However, I do love using Selkie and Sophie. Shigure is really useful too, but I always wait too long to get him so I end up getting him too late in the game to care to use him lol.

I like using them since they're really strong. Also, depending on who you pair up, you can help them inherit skills that they wouldn't have gotten otherwise, which is cool. I remember in my Awakening playthrough, Morgan was so OP that it wasn't even funny lol. She had all the best skills (I played as a guy the first time round).

 

It's true that you have to spend time training them though, as opposed to the parents who have been with you since pretty early on. I like to spend the time to get a pretty kick ass army though.

 

And tbh I'm always really biased towards the avatar's child lol. I do everything in my power to make them OP.

And yeah I feel that. I guess I just feel that since the children essentially come out of no where and join your party for a half thought-out reason I feel no emotional connection to them? Like I feel like the adults have more of a reason to be there lol. 

 

Haha I totally get what you mean. Kana/Morgan could be the weakest units in the game yet I'd still be very biased towards them since they're supposed to be my avatar's kids

I'm kind of feeling that way about them this time round. It kind of made sense as a one off thing in Awakening, but it feels a bit forced this time round in Fates. Still, from a gameplay perspective, I appreciate it. It's like breeding a powerful army. 

 

And yeah I'm most attached to Kana and Morgan. For example Shiro is also my son since I married Ryoma, and I'm a bit biased towards him too, but not as much as Kana, since I know he'll be my son in all of my playthroughs.

better late than never i guess lmaoo  yeah i'm hoping that nx will have more or less the same library as the wii u eshop does, otherwise i'll be on the fence about getting it. especially since i reeeeally wanna play path of radiance/radiant dawn, but i don't have a game cube or wii u, and i'm not willing to spend a crap ton of money to get either console

The funny thing is I own Radiant Dawn. But I have to play PoR emulated since it's way too expensive to buy.  I'm not paying over £100 for a used normal edition game. I still need to finish it. I'll give it another go once I finish Fates. I'm on Conquest right now, and loving the map variety.

 

And I saw. ^^ I think the colours on the third suggestion are a bit washed out because of the quality of the scan, but I still love the second suggestion the most. I think we should vote for that one or the first one.

Yeah Conquest in general is pretty hard especially if you're playing classic or hard mode    have you used any of the DLC maps to grind yet?

The only DLC I've played is the Awakening one. And somehow I don't have any of the children yet.  I may have to buy some packs.

 

I'm not playing on hard, but I am playing on classic, and I don't know if I can pass it without losing anyone at my current army strength.

Haha don't worry, in Conquest I only managed to get Corrin and Azura paired up and yeah only if you feel it's too hard you can use the DLC to grind but it's probably better without it. You can get all the children you want in Revelations anyway since you have access to pretty much everyone from both sides

I just remembered that I haven't used any of the buff items like spirit dust etc. I usually save them for end game. It should help me a little. I'm probably gonna buy a bunch of hp tonics too.
