I hope the marriage stuff isn't intergrated too much into the gameplay....I already didn't really bother about it in Awakening and felt like I missed out on a lot of stuff lol. Just leeme play the game without turning into a half dating sim plz!

in this game it seems to be just an option and plays no role in the story

 

however you can still marry, and marry your characters. Also children are in the game aswell but their role is minimal they are just like a bonus

For children I just want Ophelia and Kinu so I'll have to marry Owain and Nishiki lol. 

 

I'm not really liking this whole clone-character thing. Like, Shara is basically Tharja, Grey is basically Giaus, and Matoi is basically Cordelia. I know those characters were popular so they wanted to make characters just like them in Fates, but I see no originality. If it was just one character I wouldn't mind, but 3.. Not to mention Foleo is basically a male, younger version of Maribelle.

Seriously though, yeah, it's a bit lame, but like 90% of the designs are quite cool and with a series like this, where around 40+ characters are playable each game and each have their own personalities, I'm quite forgiving of characters with personalities similar to previous characters, I mean unless they were the mains.

Pre-ordered the special edition around 2 weeks ago. I want to fast forward to Feb 19 already.

 

Bummer that they announced they'll allow homosexual relations but its only limited to two characters. At least its progress.

I'm most excited to use my amiibos to unlock Marth, Lucina, Ike, and Robin (and possible Roy too). Though I only have Lucina and Ike atm. I don't really know how much I should level up my characters before battling the amiibos though.

Speaking of amiibos, I noticed that the UK Nintendo store restocked the FE amiibos, so I got all of them.

I'm a collector. I have all the Zelda amiibos, too. Can't wait to get the Midna/Wolf Link one.

Kamui was announced as a new fighter in Smash Bros today! Apparently his/her english name is Corrin. There's major spoilers about the character if you haven't played FE Fates yet, so I wouldn't recommend looking at his/her announcement trailer if you haven't played Fates.

Yeah it sounded kind of cheesy, but I'm hoping that it was just the voice actors not really being that serious. I remember watching the Lucina/Robin announcement trailer and they didn't sound as great as they did in the FE game. So I'm assuming the voice acting isn't as bad as in the announcement.

I bought a Lucina figma today! Pretty nice tbh but obviously expensive af lol. I love how you can do different poses and stuff with it though, this is one of my fav

I wish there was Pokemon figmas though, would buy the shit outta those

Technically that's a scale, not a figma since you can't change the pose, not that you'll want to and yeah, I wish there was more video game figmas in general, it's mostly just anime and manga which I don't follow
